Well SFV is rather balanced so that's comprehendible. When you see low tier hero beat big buck high tier, it can always please to the eyes :) Even if Snake Eyez already has a ton of experience on his side.
Futile got nervous towards the end and stopped adjusting...Snake Eyes realized this and simply rushed the kid down leaving him no time to regain his composure. He stopped anti-airing and just ran himself into the corner looking for whiffs (most of which came but he didn't react properly to) and let Snake Eyes win in the footies range where birdie has the advantage. This was just jitters combined with playing on tilt.
I WOULD say that Futile got read like a book, but that would imply it would take Snake a few hours to read him. He got read more like a small pamphlet, like something you'd pick up while walking around a mall or convenience store.
Finally, the win Snake Eyes deserves! He's such a great player, especially with Zangief, and I was worried when SFV first came out that Birdie was too strong and Gief was too slowed down. But SnakeEyes clearly showed he's still on top with Gief! Well done!
Sofrito Yeah, for sure. I think they should nerf Birdie just a bit with his hit damage, and speed Gief up a bit and give him his green hand back. His move cycle is a little limited in this SFV, especially since most of his moves are too slow to hit.
Commentators are biased as hell. This was like a battle between Godzilla and Mothra. You don't really care about Mothra until you realize he's been kicking ass recently and needs an old Titan to put it in its place, but then you kind of feel bad for it after awhile.
Futile cracked like Humpty Dumpty after the fourth round. He almost completely stopped anti-airing (think he only landed one clean anti-air after round 4), he stopped punishing charge punches, and he almost never managed to punish raw whiffed SPDs. He really just fell apart.
I knew these voices sounded familiar, but when I heard "Damn girl" at 0:37 I KNEW it was R.I.P! Haha shout out to him and my guy Aris. Didn't realize they stepped away from Tekken commentary for a bit and did this. Good shit .
It's his strongest attack and it's a 360 motion so I wouldn't consider it his fireball because a fire ball is much easier to do and has great range. And no the game is not limited but Zangief is limited since they removed all of his other signature moves from the past and didn't give him any replacements so the SPD is the only thing he has that does good damage. That's like complaining about Ryu shooting hadokens or Chun Li using her 1000 leg kick.
+Thanos The Mad Titan you do know that in this game the SPD is 5 frames and so is a normal throw. Also your comment makes no sense. It's a throw, you can't block throws at except for Birdie's chain and Nash's throw when he steals your energy.
This black guy is a great zangief player. I bet he owns everyone online. A lot of people seem to NOT use zangief in SFV thinking he's a dumbed down weaker character so if you use Zangief and you're as great as this guy with Zangief your opponent will be surprised how great zangief is in SFV
