Thanks everyone who stuck by with another BIG Review of mine. This was a long time coming. Hope you enjoyed it And hey, who knows? Maybe I might review other Soulslikes or Soulsborne games in the future. Also any Dynasty Warriors/Warriors fans in general, from now on, I got some treats for you in store after this video. So look forward to those soon 👀
As someone who loves Souls games just as much as JRPGs and consider them similar in ways I LOVE that u enjoyed this game so much . I agree Team Ninja need a new engine that is the biggest for me. This engine has so many issues for next gen consoles I hope they upgrade it soon. Great, informative review and I loved seeing your gameplay clips 🙏
This game's combat system was the most fun i had playing last year, really underrated battle system Wish this faster, more action and combo heavy, borderline hack n slash take on the soulslike formula was the standards for non fromsoftware titles, but unfortunately those are still quite rare.
I’m keeping an eye on Phantom Blade Zero since it seems to play very similarly to Wo Long. Also, you don’t have to subscribe to me, I’m not a content creator all I did was make a couple of memes and edits for fun
I'm leaving my two cents with this. For a Soulslike, it's very good. Not only that but the game is very lenient when it comes to the souls like feel. Sure, you die and respawn and having to find what you miss but at least in this case, it's tolerable. Tolerable that you don't lose that much. Thankfully. Take it from me. I covered everything and platinum'd the entire game + DLC. I highly recommend it.
Aye fair enough and well I had too especially when this game is made by a dev team that made his “beloved” FGC franchise that’s not Tekken, SF or KoF, SS 😂
'Wo Long' challenging. Combat mechanics favor deflect. If you try to deflect, without dodge, in 'Nioh 2,' it not gonna work out too good for you, at least during first play through. I a bit more than half way through 'Nioh 2' and 'Wo Long' much more 'parry' oriented. You can turn a bad situation with NPC or boss around, with deflect off heavy 'red' attack. It really cool. 'Wo Long' very particular, teach gamer how to experiment with various weapon. It useful to know '5 elements' in Chinese spirituality. If you taking on boss, who murdering you with 'water' spell, you can cast 'earth' spell and wait out assault from water/ice spell barrage in Earth spell AoE. There a boss and success percentage at 10-11 percent, according to Steam, and all you have to do is understand '5 Elements.' '5 elements' like rock, paper, scissors, but it involve 5, not 3, as in Earth, Wood, Water, Fire, and Metal. It come from Taoism, which a spiritual, religious, AND 'fantasy' religion. So. People no wanna learn '5 elements,' they missing out. 'Wo Long' great combat, great customization for character appearance, but story a bit gimpy.
I find it funny that the spirit gauge to me was just a stamina bar in my eyes😂 but defo a better look at the game than I did! I'm surprised people would say this looks like a ps3 game, I think we've gotten to a point in gaming where visuals are generally good and really we shouldn't have much issues with it unless it's something outrageous!
as a big Souls fan myself, this game definitely piqued my interest. I definitely won't get to it anytime soon, but it's now on my wishlist xD great review Kaiser! Do not pursue Lu Bu...
Hmmmmmm 🤔🤔. Not quite sure how I feel about this game LOL. Would probably need to check out that demo, but seems to me mostly just play this for the gameplay. Character designs are nice tho 👀
