Lamo, easy and smooth coop experience? Game devs be like just scribble a thingy on the floor and hope your buddy can find it, enjoy repeating this process when either of you die 😅

I was really looking forward to this. I play coop with my wife. The problem, if I'm not wrong is, you have to completely finish the level in coop. If you want the level to be not too difficult then you need to find most of the flags. That means finding most flags, completing the level and the level boss in one session. If this isnt done, then back to the beginning. I played this game with my wife and we played a level for 3 or 4 hours and got to a boss and couldnt finish him, so we turned it off. And that was that. I also tried to recruit my wife so that she comes into my world and my progress is saved, problem was, she didnt appear in the list.

Yah we mentioned that here. You have to beat an entire level in one session. That seemed really odd to us, especially for the more difficult levels. I mean, if there’s multiple bosses in a level that means you gotta beat them both in one session. Why not have progress saved after the first? Granted, the levels themselves are not very difficult and once you’ve seen them they’re easy to get through. But still. Makes it feel more arcade-y than modern.

There is a demo on steam for those who want to test the waters. The game is hard and a bit unoptimised for PCs but worth a shot.

It WAS a bit disappointing to not Co-Op directly from the Hidden Village. Also silly to break up the party in-between missions and the Hidden Village because the missions auto advance. Nioh 2 was more friendly in this regard. You guys had to spend Tiger Seals in Co-op? Huh, I must not have noticed or it operates differently on PS5. In the same vein PlayStation Network had some serious connectivity issues over the weekend. Wo Long saves progress differently between Solo and Co-op, graying out the Travel option entirely mid mission. Any minor PSN hiccup meant we restarted the same mission from scratch. Battle flags couldn't be rested at multiple times on PS5 also. Super odd as you could farm enemies or item drops in single player. Meaning you could always respawn enemies but your Potions don't come back. Def a bit of a step back with this game in comparison to Nioh 1 and 2. Happy you gents enjoyed your time though.

Nioh 2 co-op is retarted. Why? One person dead and everyone restart from the mission. How you said that fun?

@@TheCoOpBros Ah yes, Nioh after finishing sent you straight to your hub so you can prep things before the next run. Ochoko Cups were especially abundant with simple item drop rate %. By half way I had a thousand of them. As for shrines, in Nioh 1 I recall only being able to rest once, admittedly elixir was a frequent drop with item drop rate so no issue there. Cross progression wasn't a thing tho. I hope Nioh comes to Xbox X, I loved both of them on PS and I'd admittedly pay full price for both

Unfortunately we can’t speak to that. The developers usually don’t release those details and it takes awhile for the community to figure that out!

Hmmm. It always tell me I need Gamepass . I paid almost $100 for this 😅 yeah not so smart move but i did it. Soon as i tried to join in multiplayer, it told me I needed gamepass… Guessing through this, tiger seals bypass that, correct?

From what the developers have said on their FAQ, yes, if you use the “Microsoft” store. In other words, don’t use steam use GamePass like you alluded to! We can’t personally confirm but it is on their website stating that so 🤷🏻‍♂️

Why the fck did they even add this coop currency to be able to play together? Did ANYONE in the elden ring community said that it was a good idea in their game? No. Thats why Seamless coop mod is so popular coz it removes most of these annoyances. I mean yeah you said this currency is easy to find and i assume you won't really have any problems with it but if thats so why does it even exist? At this point they are just blantantly copying useless and annoying mechanics from their competitor without any reason

@@jackals1876 you are talking about extra helpers you summon on the battlefield. There was a coop mode you select before entering the level which didn't require anything
