I have just watched your story about the grief of losing your sister, it blows me away when something just pops up when you need it as that episode has today, your quotes were so very good to hear and I am sure as time goes on I will reflect back on them. I am broken at the moment because we lost our son and my other children's brother, he was 48 but was physically and mentally still a child, he had a few words and was in a wheel chair, he wasn't normal , didn't lead a normal life but he was happy and very much loved. He was my baby and got his wings on the 20th of February. I have seen how you made it through so I know I will too. Thank you so much.

Squishmallows are a big thing in my house. I get them from Aldi Walgreens five below TJ max target and Amazon 😊

Umbrellas: we have had them pull out of the base a fly while open toward the street!! This is dangerous! So we paid more for the 3 tiered umbrellas . The wind blows and it won’t take the umbrella away because of the slits.

Finally got to a Costco in Lancaster, PA. Yay! We don’t have one in State College 😢

When we went to visit our son in CO, he lived on the second floor of a building. He had an outside porch, that had beautiful views of the mountains, and he and his girlfriend (now wife) got a chocolate Labradoodle. I saw a 12" square of plastic turf on his porch, and stepped on it with my bare feet. I asked why he only had a small piece, and he busted out laughing, because IT WAS FOR HIS DOG TO DO HIS BUSINESS ON!!! Now, whenever I see fake green turf, I have PTSD, caused by the trauma of my son, who I labored over 30 hours before delivering, would set me up like he did! I got back at him, because I walked right into his apartment, without washing my feet!! Bahaha!

Hi Kim! I wanted to give you this info on your "homestead" video, but didn't get around to it. I watch the "Little Mountain Ranch" RU-vid channel and it's perfect for you. She cans EVERYTHING and goes thru the recipes. They are self sufficient, their pantry is stocked to last them a year, and you'll love it! I don't can but can live through you! Good luck!

The Elephant ear bulbs are awesome! In your climate you can just throw them in the ground and they get huge!!!! You would have great success with them!

Pet friendly is usually for the ones that are allergic to grass & insects that bite( fleas/ ants) & it’s easy to clean after they do their business. I used to have a dog that was allergic to grass. Btw I love your channel, you have such an upbeat personality, I love it.

You should get one of those play grounds! You have such a big yard and nothing for the kids. You need trampolines , swings, slide Ect.. z

I found this really good slow cooker chicken recipe and made it yesterday....super easy and really tasty. Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken Ingredients For the Chicken: 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs or chicken breasts 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce 1/3 cup honey 2 tablespoons tomato paste 2 teaspoons chili paste sambal oelek, sriracha, or hot sauce of choice 4 cloves garlic minced 1 tablespoon rice vinegar 2 tablespoons cornstarch For Serving: Prepared brown rice, quinoa, or cauliflower rice Toasted sesame seeds Chopped green onion Instructions 1. Place the chicken in the bottom of a 6-quart or larger slow cooker. 2. In a medium mixing bowl or very large measuring cup, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, tomato paste, chili paste, garlic, and rice vinegar. Pour over the chicken. 3. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours or HIGH for 2 to 3 hours, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F on an instant-read thermometer. If you are available, flip the chicken over once halfway through to coat both sides. (If not, don’t stress; it will still be tasty.) 4. Remove the chicken to a plate and let cool slightly. Whisk the cornstarch into the slow cooker cooking liquid. Cover and cook on HIGH for 15 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly, stirring occasionally. If you'd like the sauce particularly thick, you can cook it for a full 30 minutes in the slow cooker OR follow the stovetop method below. For quicker sauce thickening, reduce the sauce on the stove: After whisking in the cornstarch, transfer the cooking liquid to a medium saucepan. Cook on the stovetop over medium heat, stirring often until the sauce thickens, 5 to 10 minutes. (If your slow cooker insert is stovetop safe, you can remove it from the slow cooker and place it directly on the burner, but do not do this unless you are POSITIVE your insert is stovetop safe or it may crack.) 5. With two forks (or your fingers if the chicken is cool enough), shred the chicken and place it in the slow cooker. If you reduced the sauce on the stove, add it back to the slow cooker now. Stir to coat the chicken with the sauce. Serve over rice, sprinkled with green onions and sesame seeds.

I remember folding clothes when I worked at Costco’s and it was the most thankless job EVER. (I’d help out in that department for xtra hours). No sooner did you get the pile folded and looking good when somebody would come up and unfold and fling them all over the place right in front of you. Want to talk about seeing red and biting your tongue so hard. I lasted 2 weeks and moved to the food court. (My real job there was in the pharmacy).

The reason you think the macarons all have nuts in them is because ALL MACARONS ARE MADE WITH ALMOND FLOUR AND EGGWHITES!! just so you can stop looking for nut free versions. :) BTW those beef skewers are absolutely delicious. I highly recommend if you like Middle Eastern flavors.
