THIS is the band I wish had stayed together. This was the perfect combo. Issues is great, and so was "new" WIM, but this song and the cover for Last Friday Night were where they sounded perfect. I love Tyler Carter'n all, but this is the sound I loved.
i kinda agree to a point, i know the song wouldnt have existed had he stayed but this song wouldnt have worked as well with tyler... and its a fucking amazing woe is me song, and while i think number(s) showcases tylers voice really well for certain songs i think hance woulda worked amazingly well. and doriano while a decent vocalist didnt fit the sound woe is me had.
Michael and Ben are so under appreciated. I don't think anyone notices how brutal Ben's lows are. And Michael's screams are the kind of screams that make you want to punch someone in the face. Freaking amazing -3
"I'll take everything that would ever mean a single hint of trust from them" Considering how hard Tyler got cancelled, I think this lyric finally aged well. Welcome back guys. [s] army standing by your side.
@@Nerv3D The screamer is Michael. Tyler is the former singer who left the band before they made that song (the song is about him) and the singer who replaced him is Hance Alligood
Anyone who really knew what it was like to be on the woe is me train back in the day knows that it is not the same feeling as when issues came out I mean don't get me wrong issues is the fucking shit but man old woe is me
I miss this band soooo much!! I found out about them the day they broke up.. Looking back at it now, this band would be far my favourite, but they released so many good songs while they were together.. R.I.P. Woe, Is Me.
this song came up on my pandora radio... never heard of vengeance til then... NOW IM ADDICTED.... great band and i will defiantly keep up with them from now on
On April 16, 2012, touring members Doriano Magliano (former vocalist for That's Outrageous) and bassist Brian Medley officially announced they had joined Woe, Is Me. The band is set to enter the studio throughout summer 2012 with a release set sometime later this year.
When I met/Chatted with Austin a couple weeks ago he was really sweet. I guess its just the timing. Meeting fans for months straight being away from the girl you love takes a toll.again, its all about perspective
Damn! It's 2024, and I just read the lyrics of this song and now it all makes sense! After all these recent revelation of all Tyler's issues, damn this lyrics does make a lot of sense! How were they able to pull this all out at such a younger age back then? 😱🤯
Saw em last night in Hollywood for the Fire and Ice tour. Although Ben, Cory, and Michael were gone they were still amaaazingggg! Doriano (screamer) & Brian (bassist) were sick ♡
I thought Woe, Is Me was going to suck with Tyler gone but I actually like Hance's voice, he fits more with the band, I feel. Anyway great song, can't wait for more songs to come out :D
Woe, Is Me didn't have great sales with their second album as well as most of the OG members leaving and Issues got super popular. Shame though, because I really liked this lineup
i prefer hance to tyler. also pretty sure hance replaced tyler in one or two other bands as well. so hes at least as good. maybe he just really likes singing.
With or without tyler carter, this will ALWAYS be my favorite band........Idc what anyone says..... They may be gone but I listen to their music everyday...
I love some tyler carter, but they ripped him apart with this song. And I like how he kinda mocked Tyler at "How could you think this would go down so easy?" with the style of singing and the slight overlap that i usually hear from tyler, again im a fan of both bands but this ripped tyler apart.
Think about it theyve had 3 singles (Fame over demise, Vengeance, and ive told you once) Theyve had 3 punk goes pop songs (Tik tok, TGIF, and Hot N Cold) They use to have 3 vocalists (Tyler, Michael, and their keyboards who did the low screams) Those same 3 vocalists left as well, Theyve had 3 albums, yes i count eps as albums (Number[s], Gene[s]is, and the american dream) This band is formed by 3 other bands (a path less traveled, cheyne stokes, and of machines) this band also created 3 other bands for rise records (Issues, Cursed sails, and Favorite weapon) This band ended in 201(3) this band is the leader of illuminati!!!! LOL
+Bkeny 1999 Dude you have to look up the warped tour san antonio " the foolish one" I swear that was the best you'll hear it live. 2012 I believe I can't remeber when I went
You know what I realized the other day.. woe, is me with hance alligood would have been alive and successful if Tyler carter never existed. Listening to this over now again, it is so good but in my opinion, it was never good enough. Why is that? Because of Tyler carter. Myself and I’m sure many others were in anticipation of what they’d put out next to say that hance had big shoes to fill is an understatement. Now listening to this song, I have more of a clearer view of it and imo if tyler had never been around this would be a certified banger just as much as number[S] and they would have continued on being a band because there would be no comparison. Unfortunately, everyone compared in their mind, he wasn’t as good as Tyler and so they never gained the traction again. Without Tyler ever being in the band, they would’ve been there own thing and would not have had something prior with another singer to compare it to. Basically, they should’ve just started with hance. Lol the ironic thing about this though is that if what I said happened instead, there would never have been the song Vengeance written.
@@coldtea7 I understand your points and I know there was definitely major tension with the drummer Austin but I still strongly believe that they would have had a chance. The way it seemed to me, Austin and Tyler both had a sort of god complex for lack of a better term and both contributed to the downfall of the band. That being said, vengeance is no question written about Tyler.. so idk. I just miss the band.
