I was in first grade when that December 1981 episode aired - in school all day. It was their week of shows from the Ohio State Fair in 1983 that re-introduced me to the nighttime show that would premiere the following Monday in September. I remember saying "that's not Chuck and Susan"! I was so excited to see Wheel of Fortune was going to be on in the evening. A lot of memories all the way back - Pat moving the letters around on the old puzzleboard during the closing credits, his appearances among the prizes on the turntable during Jack Clark's opening descriptions causing him to laugh, the ceramic Dalmatian for $150, The Van Cleef & Arpels/Service Merchandise gift certificate...or On Account. It was seeing Pat make that one last spin at 3:18 that really hit home - like he would do at the Final Spin and the start of the show - because once you buy a prize, it's yours to keep! Like Bob Barker and Alex Trebek, we have Pat Sajak to add to the "Among the Best". God Bless you, Pat!
I remember watching Wheel of Fortune on my local NBC station mostly every night when I was younger…. Thank you for everything Pat…. I wish you the best of luck..
Pat Sajak has invited America into our homes every night for more than 4 decades as the host of Wheel of Fortune & after 41 years it's time for him to say goodbye for the last time! Ryan Seacrest will be taking over as the host of the show this fall!
It’s because it’s recorded on my phone and that as good as it can get until a better quality one is uploaded from someone else So I just wanna help out until then
