What a soothing rendition of this ghazal. It is par excellence. Wordings are of immense depth. Just not possible to translate it. Hats off to the expression of beauty. Unparalleled, unmatched.
Absolutely right, it's just impossible to translate this ghazal, as far as my assumption goes, Faiz sahab has written this beautiful ghazal just for the luv of our Beloved Prophet Mohammed S.A.W (pbuh).
یہ ایک نظم ہے، براہ مہربانی! غزل نہیں اسی طرح 'مجھ سے پہلی سی محبت' نظم ہے، اسی طرح 'دشت تنہائی' نظم ہے۔ اسے غزل کی طرح گایا گیا، ہاں، فیض نے غزلیں لکھیں، ہاں، لیکن یہ پھر بھی غزل نہیں ہے۔ غزل کی ایک مخصوص ساخت اور شکل ہوتی ہے، مطلع سے لے کر مقطع تک، ہر شعر میں ایک مکمل تصور پیش کرنے کی ضرورت ہوتی ہے، اور یہ اردو شاعری کی ایک انتہائی مشکل شکل ہے جس کے لیے شاعر سے بہت کچھ درکار ہوتا ہے۔ یہ ایک انتہائی خوبصورت نظم ہے، لیکن یہ غزل نہیں ہے۔ نکتہ چینی کے لیے معذرت، یہ تکلیف دہ ہے کہ ہم اپنی زبان اور اس کی خوبصورت پیچیدگیوں کو نہیں جانتے، اس کے باوجود کہ یہ پاکستان بھر میں ہائی اسکول کے نصاب کا لازمی عنصر ہے۔ فیض کی مشہور غزلوں میں آئے کچھ ابر کچھ شراب، گلوں میں رنگ بھرے، شام فراق اب نہ پوچھ، رنگ پیراہن کا اور بہت سی دوسری غزلیں شامل ہیں۔

This is a praise in favor of the Prophet . Kindly do not use feminine gender in this. Some words are misplaced. Kindly learn the contextual meaning from a good teacher. This is not a love poem.
