'Woke Channel 4 Is DESTROYING Itself' | The World According To Mike Graham 

A few years ago I was on train, sorting next to a guy who turned out to be a program commissioner for Channel 4. I took a few glances at what he was writing on his laptop, ideas for programs, and I can honestly say it was a tragic combination of unrealised low racism, middle class expectations of "the poor", patronising drivel and the modern parents from Viz. No wonder no one watches.

I cant bear Ch4...their presenters are all SO patronising & "above it all" yet completely oblivious to their pathological hypocricy.

Absolute rubbish generally pushed out by channel 4.

Channel 4 was a good Channel for different and left field stories but the whole Channel has become an amplifier for The Message. It once had great comedy with Father Ted and the IT Crowd as an example but it's been destroyed by The Message.

The biggest issue with all of the 'old' channels is that they think the UK still only has 4 channels to watch. lol the monopoly is OVER!!! As for the BBC...pfft...if theyre so great go subscriber only ...hahahahahahaha But the main issue is that they pay themselves well over the top salaries and do not have a clue what the public is interested in.

Film 4 has been a success but the TV has been rubbish

Ch4 that used to bring you shoes such as The Comic Strip Presents, Drop the Dead Donkey, The Green Wing, Father Ted and (I know many won’t agree) but Queer As Folk, now brings you utter cr*p such as nude bodies, first dates and biased news programmes. Shame

As someone who is from Hull and in 2005 they aired the "best and worst places to live" when Phil Spencer visited this city to slate Hull branding the worst place to live. I have no sympathy whatsoever with them. Karma is going to be a bitch.

I think folks are concentrating on the wrong issue with regard to migration. The problem is not numbers coming in but the fact that successive govts have fallen over themselves to give away british citizenship. In japan someone might live there for 20 years but if not born in japan they will NEVER be given citizenship. That is how the uk should go

I used to go out with a production manager at C4 20 years ago. Her boss pitched an idea about putting a midget on a curling puck, or whatever they're called. It had a pilot, then they scrapped it. He was on £139,000 back then for coming up with these stupid ideas.

Mike is so generous. I love these two individually and together. Mike is happy to give Kevin his head and the look on his face when Kev is ranting is priceless. They cheer me up no end.

I don't watch tv because most of it is crap, I do own a tv but it is only used for playing games on the PS5. Anyway, at work they have tv's in the canteens and on my morning break I would go into the canteen and the Big Bang Theory would be on, by the time I had got a cup of tea and my sandwich etc from the fridge there would be a break for adverts, I would sit down eat my sandwich a yoghurt, orange and a kit-kat. The adverts and trailers would go on and on, the same one's everyday and you got sick of them it seemed to be more adverts than programme time, I could not wait to get out of the canteen.

And Bliar's Iraq partner in (alleged) crime Alistrair Campbell had an obsession with trees a while back.

The advertisers are a part of the issue in that they're promoting left wing woke ideology and won't advertise on alternate platforms that promote more right leaning views and values.

They put better stuff out than the BBC, repeat after repeat, after repeat, and again and again. ITV is also crap, churn out the same five overpaid people as hosts. Steph’s packed lunch was far better than the rest of the tripe on the other four so called main channels.

This is from a channel, at the last viewing figures I saw only get 2.13 million viewers, GB news 3.44 and the BBC news channel 12.3 million.

When the politicians stop saying that they are building x amount of affordable homes when they should be building council houses a house that is £300k is not affordable for the people who need a home and they never build them anyway they just sell the land to property developers

I haven't watched Channel 4 since ER ended about 20 odd years ago. It is even more unwatchable than the BBC.

RU-vid only exists as an alternative to the likes of Ch4. If the 100's of TV channels out there actually delivered on what people wanted to watch this platform wouldn't exist. Here we have effectively one channel that has something for all and its the only outlet I subscribe to other than the mandatory BBC licence.
