I don't know if the seal part was true but we got away with it. LOL I think there was a total of like 4 or 5 visitors spent the whole weekend. We had a blast.

I have a son in law and a couple nephews in the military. As far as I can tell we are doomed. I retired in 2001, in these current conditions, I'd never make it.

I had more than a few MD friends who also enjoyed working on old/sports cars at the auto hobby shop, I traded sportscars with a full bird, we were both happy with the deal. I didn't take it off base often, but I got a (sort of) yelling at from the gate guard because I hadn't removed the col's bumper sticker, and the guards saluted the sticker, not the man. Funny you mentioned Colorado Springs, I was at the Academy for a 4 year controlled tour in Feb 76- Dec 80, I did get up to NORAD frequently to see a patient (an 0-10).

I retired from the Air National Guard five years ago. I'd recommend the National Guard if you want to continue you military career. Transgender wasn't a thing when I was in, when I first heard of it, I thought it was insane. I looked into it and was surprised how much medical data they have on body/gender dysphoria, it's a real thing. You know the military is going to follow the recommendations of the medical experts, so I'm guessing pronouns are important. But this Navy video sucks big time, everyone in the military are all adults.

In any service, align yourself with a mentor who is grounded in mission accomplishment and contribution to the organizations accountability and success be it anywhere in the lines, on point -or- in the rear with the gear. No machine functions at peak without all of its parts clicking and no part is insignificant. Certainly some roles are more attractive but not necessarily more vital in a total mission sense. Avoid those who embrace image over accomplishment or those who believe success is owed rather than achieved. Every service has plenty of each types and a huge middle ground that sways based on their perception of basic need and survival. Set your goals at first being good at your job then eventually at helping others be good at their jobs as well. Plan on paying your dues wherever you go. Know that this is a vital step in becoming accomplished. A good leader considers their credibility, not their importance. Take the job you are assigned and work it with precision and pride even if you don’t like the job. As you gain respect and credibility you will not have a hard time rolling into the job you do want. Still never forget where you came from and know that you need to be that mentor helping guide someone someday. OR … you can say that’s a lot of crap and just tell your supervisors to shut up. They’ll appreciate your frankness. NOT!

Have an attachment cataloged of health and cleaning products each soldier checks off their needs and that is what delivery of goods they good at base. (In war this would get complicated though.)
