Thanks to one of my grandsons I got over to Kingfield from Ash on Saturday. I used to get there more regularly at one time. My parents & many relatives were from Woking plus my late wife, I was born in Reading & remember seeing the late 50s Amateur Cup winning side at places like Loakes Park & the old White Horse ground in Oxford. Always good to see the 'Cards' do well & my best wishes are with them in their promotion push. My Dads people lived just round the corner in Loop Road so it's an area very dear to my heart. Of the game, I thought Gateshead kept at it pretty well under the early set back so there was credit there for them but its just a case of 'Come on you Cards'
