what a football match! I would dispute the praise of the refs, especially the one giving offside at least three times incorrectly, but that's football. This was a game to remember for a long, long time.

They prove why League Two needs at least another relegation spot. The cycling of quality teams would benefit the EFL, these two teams would comfortably be mid table in League Two, if not higher.

They should just make the National League into League 3

I was coming here to say the same thing. It really makes no sense to me that only one team goes up automatically, both these teams can play in league two with no issues.

Would actually think both teams would fair well in the championship. Great entertainment

@@mrcookie9259 not necessarily, if one doesn’t go up they’ve shown that they have a bunch of league 2 and even league 1 potential players, clubs from those leagues will come for those players, and these clubs might not have the power to get them to stay.

Call it what it is. A stupid comment, which shows the person knows nothing about football. Amazing spectacle, though some of the defending looked completely amateur (expected at this level) but nonetheless a good highlight for the national league. Great result for Wrexham and for Ben Foster but 'up there with Troy Deeney in football folklore' RIDICULOUS statement

@@carolewynn9407 Yeah, he was, but that was more to do with him priming himself to jump than trying to get an advantage. Even so, I hate the way that FIFA are constantly trying to hamstring keepers during penalties. Those taking kicks can take the piss as much as they like but keepers can't - they've even outlawed that. It's like these stupid stuttering run-ups. David De Gea may well have saved Lewandowski's penalty when United played Barca but he was almost on his knees by the time Lewandowski had hit the ball because he couldn't tell when Lewandowski was going to kick it. FIFA need to take their heads for a dump.

They care so much about the club, some owners care but cheat like Chelsea and man city, but they did the hard work to market Wrexham and convince sponsors to join the idea. He wants to get them back to the championship or even the premier league.

I don’t think this is even a professional league. It’s semi-pro. Professional leagues start at League 2 and this is the National League which is below that

@@ramengurung9913 dead correct, Vanarama is the highest level of semi-pro before the EFL, which is the first official taste of pro football. Even so though, this game was lit for Vanarama 😌🔥⚽

@@ramengurung9913 the problem is that these teams have players that have played in the leagues aboves. Notts County also used to be league 1. So, despite being in a lower league, the quality is there.

@@kenken6012 Notts County were in the top tie for a season in the early 90s. Likewise Oldham Athletic who are currently in the bottom half of the same league - they were in the premiership for a season or two.
