I love my Wolf A1 rifle. Had to upgrade the buffer and spring to a heavy H3 buffer and rifle spring. The stock buffer in my CRT lower wasnt heavy enough and the bolt kept sheering the rims off my shells.
I did almost same thing. Went with 16” and complete Palmetto lower with Geissele match trigger group installed. I’m all about simple so its iron sights for me.
Love my custom A1-T91! Beautiful build btw! I have the Wilson Combat/BCM pistol grip with a DDC side charging handle. P.S. We should be ok in reference to the carrier tilt because the back of the bolt is tapered slightly to prevent that. Shoot straight my friend.
Brownells has this upper in stock right now. I had thought about getting one years ago but I went with the Adams arms piston upper instead. I have had plenty of trouble with my Adams upper over the years and have since retired it to a backup/ extra upper. I am just about to pull the trigger on this bad boy now. Looks like a quality product especially for the price at Brownells. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience.
Wolf classic military steel case works fine in my wolf a1 on a PSA lower. I have the new PA SLX microprism sight on it. I highly suggest this sight. Love the gun. Now Im thinking of building another.
The part you were pushing to show the piston move back and forth is actually the gas port and is stationary when you insert it and rotate it 180 degrees. The piston moves inside the tube. You can use an anti-tilt buffer or anti-tilt receiver extension. I found the Spikes lower anodizing matches the upper finish the best.
I appreciate the correction. Thank you. As far as the buffer, I'm not having any issues with it tilting as of yet, so I'm going to leave it alone. I lucked out on the lower. I didn't have any others to compare it to side by side, but the anodizing is very nice, and extremely close.
@@RooftopKY I've got a stash of lowers and have compared the finish against Spikes, Aero, LMT, Colt, Troy, and Brownells and the Spikes is by far the best match. I'm putting together one right now with a 14.5" pinned and welded and am going to get an anti-tilt H3 buffer just to be safe :)
Taiwan Army will substitute new self-made XT-112 assault rifle for T91 rifle which are currently used by the troops. The new XT-112 assault rifle has a built-in reflective inner red dot and an advanced combat optical sight. Its effective and precise shooting distance reaches 1200 meters. It is an assault rifle with the world's longest distance in precise shooting currently.
Yes and no. You can add a folding stock attachment like the Sylvan Arms AR 15 Folding Stock Adapter or similar to give you that functionality. However, since you still use the buffer system to properly cycle the bolt, it has to be in the extended position to work. Hope this helps.
