Most animals in the canis genus bark. Foxes actually yelp too, even though they’re not in the canis genus, but they are in the same family as dogs wolves jackals and so-on.
@@Lildoucheboy absolutely not. I’m not sure why you would see a fox and think of a cat. They are clearly extremely different except for their eyes. That’s it. They’re in the canidae family. Foxes aren’t related to cats.
There is no difference in attitude between a wolf and a dog. They are so cute animals and their gesture touches the heart. The social animals those who kill these beautiful creatures must be savages from hell.
@Tensai Q. What ever be both the creatures are superb. The term "mistrusting, supper skittish" that you used are in reality wrong because humans grade these animals in reference to the way these animals could be used for our benefit not in the parlance of nature's laws. The most heinous, cruel, and the greatest ditchers are the humans. Humans are regularly killing the animals who have trusted the humans and sold in the meat markets. There are hundreds of videos available on you tube exhibiting deep bondings between human and tigers, lions etc. So please don't say that the wolves are ditchers.
@Tensai Q. Oh, I have understood your heart. Actually these wolves are so attractive that I got lured. No I'm not going to keep one, not even a wolf dog. But since you have a wolf dog I would like to know from you. Do they guard homes or that sense of duty is lacking in them?
@Tensai Q. Obviously, even in the wild the tigers, elephant often have been seen to avoid the humans. The nature has taught them because the humans can cause severe harm to them. In fact the wild should move on the path as taught to them by nature- avoid the bipedal animals. The bipedal animals tries to win the trust then use the animal for own use and will not retreat if killing the animal will serve their purpose and confinement in small cages is a ritual. The pet bovines, goats, sheep, etc. trust their keepers and never believes they will be killed until the time they are really killed. I've seen a video from Pakistan where a bull could free itself and ran for life from the shambles to save itself from being butchered on the occasion of Eid but then the hapless bovine was captured and killed mercilessly with rejoice. Just think, the said bull had trusted those men who bought him and went with them without fuss without knowing what was in his fate.
Last night I was deep in the forest with some friends and we parted ways. 10 minutes later I heard loud barking and noise of branches breaking.. first thought a dog.. no one was there though and it was 4 AM. Damn.. I was alone and the sound was like the one on this video.
Same thing last night, walked alone in the forest, heard barking and 30 minutes later saw the wolf. By the sounds I knew it had followed from a distance.
@@aleksivuojolahti4125 in a foggy forest while sweating on a hot summer night alone it's exciting to say the least - mosquitoes everywhere. Suomessa viime kesänä too.
Huh. Been trying to study wolves and their behavior through books and personal research. It never dawned on me they could bark like that Reminds me of a husky barks and talks actually
@@WereRen it looks more like a mix that's what I thought, but I guess since it's well fed. I guess it's because most wolves don't look like a fully fed wild dog with a husky like body.
More accurately, wolves typically don't bark when not in close contact with humans. Barking is mainly a vocalization used as a loose imitation of human speech, used to readily get their attention.
Yep! But your way more likely to hear them howling than barking like this in the wild. They usually bark more like this in the wild when they're young pups.
Why? They don't look the same you can tell clearly what exactly is a wolf and then what exactly is a husky I think it would be a little more confusing if the wolf did have part dog in it's blood mixing the two up like a wolf dog I think the term is but other than that nothing is confusing about them :)
Huskies have black and white fur and blue eyes. Wolf have white/greyish fur and don't have blue eyes. They're both big and fluffy dogs, but they aren't physically the same.
I'm actually getting confused as to whether it's a Coyote or a wolf. Both are very similar in terms of characteristics... These Canines, unlike Felines.. look very similar
A nice thing to keep in mind when seeing a wolf or a coyote is that a wolf is much bigger than a coyote that's how you tell them apart plus the snout for me personally is different :)
Coyotes are smaller than wolves and are have more compact fur (wolves are bushy). I was surprised to see how small they are in person. They're about the size of a medium-sized dog with grey and brownish fur and pointy ears.
