So cool. We love our wolf creek. We saw your 850 but obviously just the outside. We walked by it on Sunday. Congratulations. We are heading out west Monday. If your ever up in Northern Michigan email us.
We love it so far. Soon we will take it on 18 day trip. Over 4000 mile trip. New video with camper out. Welcome to the variety channel. Have a excellent day
Nice camper, most all brands are Aluminum substructure now, my 2006 Lance 851 was there 1st All Aluminum substructure and it shows, It looks the same as new other than a little fading. Happy Camping Guys👍🏼🇱🇷
For sure something to like about each of them. We had a lance 845 from. 2005 until 2008. We loved it. We had a Jayco 21Qb we are ready for truck camper again. What unit do you currently have? Thanks for watching and commenting. We are a variety channel. Have a excellent day!
@@adventurerhoades currently I have a 2015 Evo 2360 travel trailer. I had an old Lance camper many years ago (it was so long ago I do not recall the model). I enjoyed the camper for boating trips, and quick jaunts. I have evolved into doing more destinations, with longer stays, so I enjoy the square footage of a travel trailer these days. Campers have gone up in price A LOT in my market. How is the price point there? (They start in the high 20s here, and easily climb into the 40s).
Lol. Welcome to the variety channel. We sometimes do giveaways. You guys are more than welcome to come to harvest fest party. We love the camper. Have a great day!
Hello Josh and Autum!! Thank you for sharing your experience at the Grand Rapids Camping World! Wow...I agree; this Wolf Creek is definitely a nice option. Wow....$15-20k cheaper; I agree.....that is really a lot of trips! I put the truck campers in the same category as sail boats. When looking at them, you really need to consider the outside space as that is really where folks live with the exception of eat, sleep, and bathroom. I am very exciting for you two! I hope you score one of these great truck campers that you've highlighted soon!! Safe travels!!
Thank you. Looks like this just may be the one. We had a lance 845 from 2005-2008. We loved it. We feel this is probably a bit nicer than that one was. Made in Oregon. Overall good reviews. I think godzilla will handle it well. Have a excellent night!
@@adventurerhoades That is really awesome! Our travel trailer will come from Oregon too. I think Outdoors RV is a throw off from the Northwoods company also; not positive. I am just hoping that you can narrow down on an option for your planned trip this summer/fall. You guys have a great night too! I like your 40s at night there! It has been in the mid to upper 50s here, so the house thermal mask hasn't totally cooled off at night :-( I will have to endure about 4 hours of 110 in Palm Springs tomorrow, then on to LA; which will be nicer. Going to be visiting one of my war buddies in San Diego on Friday.
I just bought a new Wolf Creek 840 a couple of months ago and put it on my 7.3 Godzilla F 250 short box and I love it. It is a quality camper and it has worked flawlessly for me so far.
@@adventurerhoades No mods, all stock. My payload capacity is 3,114 lbs. and I travel alone so with the camper (2,332 lbs.), full tanks and all my gear , I'm around my max. The truck has plenty of power and handles well but you do need to take the corners with caution.
Really cool. We met the Malloy family. We drove that way in the spring. Welcome to the variety channel. Neat your from Michigan. We are in Kalkaska & Fife Lake area. Have a great day. Here is video when we met the Malloy Family ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-y1UWnhMCxOo.html
That is a really nice camp to fit in a truck bed. It's been years since I seen them. They have come a long ways with them. I hope you get one that works for y'all. Have a good weekend and thanks for the walk through. See ya!
Awesome! I want to buy a small one and take a trip across the country with my dog! 😂😂😂 Isn’t that the American dream? 😂😂😂 Thanks for sharing my friends!
Thanks for your thoughts toward the end that a truck camper is a lot easier to get around at places than having a trailer. That's exactly why I'm considering getting a truck camper.
The airstreams are really cool. We had a lance 845 back from 2005 until 2008 we really liked it. Mainly parking about anywhere turning around etc. Best wishes in your search.
It's rated at just shy of 4000 payload lbs. But yes u think camper plus contents would by 3200 plus lbs. Hope all is well your way. If you were near you would be my goto solar panel guy. Have a excellent day!
@@adventurerhoades Years ago I had a 12 foot camper for my f 250 Ford but I had to beef it up a little the best thing I found was the overload rubber cone that sat right on the axle so only came into effect when big load was on. It would take 3 face cords of wood after that lol Fasten it down good the cross winds really play havoc with it.
