It looks like you removed a bunch of bolts and brackets on the front wheel which makes this process look way quicker and easier than it actually is in your video. It’s a bit misleading and lacking key information that might change people’s minds about attempting this themselves.
U had a hard time removing the tire because u need to lay the wheel flat and not on the floor with the axle making it unstable and wobbling I did my tires on a flat surface with the axle going thru a hole and i removed and installed the tires with no tools no zip ties that’s all a waste of time
I have a Qiewa Q power 2... Yesterday, I swapped the off road tires out on it for street tires.. I was wanting to get the task done or at least started before my tire spoons arrived from Amazon.. I got to thinking.. An idea popped in my head.. If we can zip tie it to put the tires on the rim.. Why can't we do it to take it off the rim without spoons? 🤔. To my surprise, my idea worked.. I had both tires swapped out before the spoons arrived.. While the wheels were on the scooter, I used big channel lock pliers to squeeze the tire, slipped a zip tie under and to the other side and pulled it through and zip tied it while squeezing the tire with the pliers then I did that 4x more times.. Then took the wheel off the scooter, and was able to pull the tire off the rim without any spoons. 😁🔋🛴 I thought I'd share my experience.
I am not looking forward to this. I had my scooter out today and hit a pothole which bent the rim on the rear tire. I truly never imagined that a pothole would do this to my scooter. Waiting to hear back from fluidfreeride. Damn!! Guess I’ll be back to watch this video one day soon.
@@beyondxxth So, I had just this problem and was out of commission for over a month before I finally figured out how to fix it. A new rim with motor (and tire) will set you back about $500 (I think; it's not cheap..) If you haven't fixed it already, let me know and I share how I fixed mine and saved the money!
I’ve got 90/65-6.5 tyres on my scooter it leaks out the rim a tiny bit if I clean the rim and out and put 100/65/6.5 will that stop it the rims and realy buckled
Very interesting video about tire size. I’m currently using 11inch 90/65-6.5. I would like to try the 100 since I like the wider look. Will this be ok without any issue on my ultron T112 e scooter?
That is amazing how did you manage to get the back bars to slip into the motor with the 2 inner washers in!? I tried and I couldn’t because the back bars would not separate in order for me to slip the motor in so I said screw it and only put in only 1 inner washer and I run it like that. I don’t know if is dangerous to run the scooter like that I made to tighten the nuts though and put blue lock tight on it to make sure it won’t come off it seems extremely stable
So it turns out the 2 inners washers are different just like the front wheel so I that means I was trying to put the back tire back into the swing arms with the wrong inner washers on each side like a dumbass lol but they are supposed to slide all the way in not partially I figured this out because I figured it was a safety issue running the scooter with only one inner washer on the back wheel and also because now that I didn’t have 1 inner washer it was impossible to align the back brake so it was unusable so I went and removed the deck removed the battery and pulled out more of the motor-cable from the chasis now with the battery out of the way so I had room to work with the reinstallation process and figured out that the inner washers are not exchangeable installed the back tire as shown in this video I forgot to put lock tight in it though lol. So thank you very much for your help with this video 😅 Update: make sure to loosen the two bolts on both sides that hold in the back suspension so the swing arm can come more further apart so it’s easier
Yo nice video, I have relevant question, about the different sizes on the tire, how can u fit a different size than actual size than the original on it. ? My problem is my kugoo g2 got an 85 6.0 6~5 and I accidentally ordered home a 90 6.0 6-5 instead.. with tube, so does that fit .? I’m confused, and do u have another platform to chat on or forum? Great video btw
I broke 2 screwdrivers yesterday and mangled a street tire trying to seat it on the rim I need to order some real tire spoons and try again i'm exhausted.
I’m having a hard time getting my front wheel back on the forks. It’s almost like the forks closed in a little bit. Any tip or tricks would be greatly appreciated!
Fold the stem. Open 4 screw that holding the shocks in place Slide the shocks forward to have more leverage. Try to pull them apart at the same time slide the moto in And close the screws Don't forget to put the spacer on the brake side 😉
@@beyondxxth i woud advise to use plastic tyre levers so u dont scrach the rim of the tire since it needs to catch onto the rim so air doesent leak out but when putting on a tire its much easyer basicly no tools neded ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mbMquZLAf_c.html
@@Maykay1312 yep I saw the video. What if you try it on a wolf with off-road tire and let me know? I swapped PMT tires as well as normal road tire and I have to say PMT tires are so soft so that’s why.
@@beyondxxth ye i know but im talking about putting the tires on taking them off is still hard but when taking off the tires u need to use plastic tire levers and tire paste when putting them on
So there’s literally no other way to take off the back tire to exchange it for another one unless you go into the deck and disconnect it ? I have a few weeks till winter and I’m stressed out I won’t be able to ride my tire keeps going flat no matter what I do
I’ve changed brakes and stuff on them scooters over just never went into the deck it’s self, is it difficult to locate where you disconnected and to take it out? I need to do this today . I need to get back on the road I’ve got the wolf for 4 days now and this is what happens lol
The zip ties dies not work well at all (I commend this guy!) It takes 3 people to reapply the tires!! I feel like my stem is not stiff enough… Is there a way to tighten it? Also, I’m seriously considering a dampener for less wobble at higher speeds.
If you have death wobble ,your stem isn't tied . There is a ton of videos about it and it's ez to fix no need for a dampener under 100 kph in my opinion.
@@beyondxxth “Stem isn’t tied”… I feel confident that I tightened all the screws. I even replaced the pin with a bolt with double nuts. Am I missing something?
