Why do guitar makers tend to use white glue / Titebond for the tops especially? Hide glue means we can always get to anything and repair or replace it with some heat and steam, no? I am really interested to know. Oh, yes - and So nice to watch this method too. Beautiful.

Super Video!! Ich wusste nicht, dass alte Igluzeltstangen ein wichtiges Werkzeug für Gitarrenbauer sind. Schade, dass ich so wenig Talent an diesem Instrument habe, sonst würde ich gleich mein altes Openairzelt vom Dachboden holen, Hautleim produzieren und eine Zargenlehre schustern.. 😀💪👍

Incredible work. Great to see so many hand made tools too, very interesting and informative for a hobbyist like myself. Did you make your own CNC router all by yourself? The inlays would be a litteral hell without, and I´m not talking about hell beer, the other one. Beautiful machine heads too. Thanks for inspiering movie, really impressive work.

A wonderful video, but it would have been nice to see a complete outside view of the guitar. Close up it was beautifuil, and I'm sure it looked great when you could see the whole thing, but alas.....
