You know what could have been an interesting dlc? Two dlcs where you either play as Fergus or Wyatt and see what they have been through when Blazco was in the asylum. The player could get to know them both a bit better and it could impact their choice between these two even more in the next game
A Brilliant Idea. Also , we could have added a third dlc of Caroline, And all the 3 DLCs in themselves would have been damn good combination, alongwith main storyline of BJ
Probably a boring DLC- Caroline mentions in the new order that the kreisau circle (can’t spell it) was mainly inactive and didn’t do much… however a DLC about the characters before the circle would be good.
If anything, I would like to see a DLC that takes place before Wolfenstein the old blood. Like right one the tide begins to turn against the allies. Or maybe the adventures of Fergus. this game had so much potential and I think Youngblood completely shitted on it
I like how, of all 3 DLC characters, Wilkins is the one who doesn't have an absurd biological explanation for his contraption powers. Like... "Captain Wilkins can dislocate his bones and extend his legs to twice their size because of his army training"
@@afailureofaanimator6744I mean this game isn’t post be historically accurate it takes place where America failed the last time they were actually a thing was in old blood where they had only a couple last soldiers fighting and by that time they were already very small force then in the new order America is no more and you try to remake America and try to make a resistance to go against the German world since they literally won and conquered the world and space
How to describe combat in Wolfenstein: *Metal Gear Solid detection noise* Welp, time to go to work. *Becomes an A-10 Warthog until the anything that moves is dead.*
I never even bothered with stealth in these games personally. There's something REAL satisfying about sticking the game on "I Am Death Incarnate!" and going in guns blazing. It's tough but goddamn is it rewarding.
The paid dlc for this game looks more like something the average person could make if this game had modding tools for free.(actually they would of done a much better job, then whoever did this dlc's)
Man, Fred Tatasciore is a really good voice actor. Dude voices more than Soldier 76, he's done Nikolai in Call of Duty Zombies, Lars in Fortnite Save the World, not mentioning multiple side characters, and characters in TV shows that I'm to lazy to list.
Well, could have had a nice infiltration mission that earns you a prototype weapon based on Sun Gun technology (say, a gun that requires no ammo but is charged only when you are in the sun), then taking a shuttle or something to the Sun Gun in space for the second level where you experience problems with microgravity while battling the Nazis in outer ring of the Sun Gun. Then for the third and last segment, taking a spacesuit to go to the main room near the middle (cuz Nazis blocked the entrance the regular way) where you battle Nazi space troopers while the Sun Gun is firing. At the last moment you divert the beam to shoot in the ocean, all while looking at a beautiful scenery of an orbital bombardment, clouds parting and you know. Then proceed to the main room and battle the final boss, a German space general in a robot space suit. You defeat him and in the stations is about to blow up, you push his corpse out of the suit, and then in a Space Marine style fall to the Earth while the chunks of the Sun Gun burn up around you. You eject from the robot and parachute on a tropical island in the Pacific looking up the fireworks in the sky from the sandy pacific beach at night. And as the cut scene ends, the new dawn is rising and the guy says "The Sun Gun is no more, the sun of freedom is rising" or some such cheezy shit. Some "sun of a gun" joke in the middle of the playthrough might be there as well. That all would last as much as this one did, but would be a more awesome story in my opinion, in the line with the over the top story telling of Wolfenstein.
problem with the 'at the last moment you divert the beam to shoot the ocean'. the sun gun concentrates light onto a single point, if the sun gun fired, the light would still reach the designated targeting point, even if the sun gun beam was aimed to the ocean, whatever light was aimed at the target would hit the target, possibly annihilating the target in the process other than that. love the idea 👍👍👍
I had to order the game from amazon because wolfenstein 2 didn’t released in South Korea. I also wanted to buy dlcs but I couldn’t. I was sad but after I found out this dlcs are awful I suddenly realized that I was lucky
Wow, Captain is badass....but his story seemed.....lackluster, Joe was ok full of action, Silent Death was full of 70's spy film charm, Wilkins? Yeah ok sure the story is ok..... seems to end the worst in my opinion, Joe goes into over time, Silent goes for more missions and wilkins just....does the same. I hope when they make Wolfenstein 3 they do us a favour and add more time to enjoy the character, more time to love them, and maybe more time to accept that they are tied to the Wolfenstein name.
And wolfenstein youngblood is bad as well. dumb characters, bad ai , a glitch fest (well my version at least) the dlc's look a little better than that game. In my opinion
I feel bad for anyone who spent money on this or any of the other DLCs. I would feel ripped off as hell. Like seriously, "hey, this is going to be something involving the black sun from the previous games!" Cool, neat! *turns out to pretty much have nothing to do with it at all while being a bland copy pasta job from the previous levels and has the same nazi superweapon plot as dlc 1* No new weapons, abilities, music, enemies. Bare minimum of effort put in to sell it for 10 dollars.
I had a gut feeling I’d feel the same way and so I waited. Something about the comic book imagery that just told me this was off. Waited until this past Friday when it was $14.95 and Microsoft gave me a $10 credit so I figured for $5 what could it hurt? Definitely bland and I can’t stand the stills in the cutscenes.
Jenny: You'll be trapped with the entire German army. Wilkins: That's where your wrong Jenny! I'm not trapped, they're trapped down here with me! 37:45 so senile!
This is the kind of shit I live for. This guy is gunning down krauts left and right all while thinking about what he’s gonna grab for dinner that night.
Except Alaska wasn’t a US state in the 1940s he didn’t get admitted into the union is on 1953, and in this game long after the nazis occupied the United States, not to mention in the first game it stated numerous times The Japan had control of the Pacific coast of the United States
16:39-16:44, "And this is our- OH MINE GOTT!?" The Nazi general looked at the sun gun on his ship in horror, someone had somehow covered the entire cannon with the dead bodies of his fellow germans. And then he hit the floor after a bullet flew through his skull.
Idk I want to believe Machine Games have enough common sense to not fall for the SJW propaganda machine, I think with the politically charged landscape we find ourselves in its hard to separate an alternate history shooter with Nazis in them to actual true blue SJW propaganda.
I think it's all context you know, to me it made sense to have Grace because the civil rights movement wasn't a thing in that version of America because of the Nazi's and obviously the Black Panthers would be a thing fighting Nazis, even the communist makes sense because they are the hippie liberals who were too chicken shit to help fight Hitler
you'll be trapped with half of the german army down there see that's where u're wrong *i'm not trapped down there with them, they're trapped with me* badass
1:55 "Yeah don't worry let me just kill your buddy right here next to you and you don't see" *About 2 seconds later* Nazi Soldier: "Hey one of our men is dead over at the top of the balcony even though I am not in view of seeing the player *AND* I am looking the other way"
This kinda goes for the whole New Wolfenstein franchise but I preferred when it was set in WW2. While I liked Wolfenstein The New Colossus I prefer WW2 games
Never met anyone more badass and hardy than an old American WW2 vet. His heart could stop beating and he'd still be fighting fascists till the sun came down.
These DLC's were a bad joke. Feels like they just left an intern in the office over the weekend with the map-making tools open and asked him to just re-use some assets to whip up some alternate levels to sell as DLC. They're not even worth the time to play, let alone the money to buy. This was the first warning sign. Youngblood was when the cancer went full-malignant.
Remind me to never buy DLC from those guys again. What a rubbish season pass. And what's with the difficulty? Playing it on Do or Die like the main game and I'm dying like a pig.
More like the guy playing in the video is playing on a lower difficulty. Seriously, he survived shit that on Do or Die difficulty would kill him, again and again. And I don't mean dodging. I mean taking hits over and over because he made sloppy mistakes. And I don't mean to be mean to the uploader. He's entitled to play at whatever difficulty he wants, without getting shit for it. Just feel like a lower difficulty setting is what's causing some of the criticisms of these DLC.
The should’ve had BJ die a hero and have Gunslinger, Captain, or Silent be your character you chose or a custom character. All having pros and cons for balancing and not just BJ with a different voice and appearance.
These DLC's have been fucking awful. Bland settings, stories and character's, no new eniemes or equipment, recycled assets, recycled OST and a ridiculously short length. This game was a disgrace to the Wolfenstein series, severally disappointing as a game and the DLC is even worse.
Gaming TurnOns Better than nothing yes, but the folks over at Machine Games know how to make creative pieces as we've seen in previous titles. These DLCS offer nothing exciting or unique to justify their price & length. My opinion though
Phoenix Intergrale I agree. This DLC's looks like fan made WADS. I mean, they're fun but not worth the price they have. Is it that hard to put a Zerstörer at the ending at least?
they could have given silent death a different silenced pistol, like a browning high power or something. maybe some american weapons like a t20e2 garand (mag fed full auto)
