@@alphaomega8373 on Full bridge amps I lower the gain and stop pretty quick when the amp distorts... otherwise they will pop... I have lost several full bridge amps doing uncertified tests.

if it cant pass the test , it isnt stable at that ohm load , so basically he is saying its not stable at 1ohm cuz he has to cut the test lol . smart 3 .5ohm uncertified back to back does not die.

@@mazda2284 smart 3 has a limiter, these do not. I Can take a Taramps 1 ohm MD5000, a Taramps HD5000 and if I crank the gain and run full bore the amp will pop.

u like the O better how is the sound?

@@allmotorhash I haven't really had the time to fine-tune it so I can't say I like the O more but it's does certainly put out rated power.

@@beng9411 it took mine about 6 months. If you don't have time to wait I suggest D4S if you want this amp. If not try another brand that you like and is available.

@ThunderCat three fans on a full range is a simple, but hell of an accomplishment considering you want your amp to run as cool as possible. Even though they're all similar the price of the wolfram is like getting a cadillac for the chevy price

I'd rather use my $20 DMM that will set crossover frequencies just as good

@@beardedforlife3740 Thing is, a DMM will only get you kind of close when it comes to gain structure in the first place. Oscope is where it is at. The CC-1 is really quick and accurate, especially for test environments and quick gain matching

I've seen all the vids.. you're just a BROKE NOOB whom can only afford ROCKVILLE and not real amps

Any amp that makes this much power will consume that many amps, that is a fact... regardless of the cost of the amp... so yes the savings you had on the amp should go to funding a proper electrical system...

Yep most definitely so you figure $400 for amp $50-$60 for big 3 upgrade plus $80-$100 for good quality zero gauge and $300-$400 for a aftermarket alternator plus $50 for fuses and odds and ends and you end around $880-$1100 and that's with out battery upgrades That's something I think allot of people overlook.But nice a$$ amp nonetheless👍🏽

@Clint Lavender I have high hopes for my Trauma 3.5k amp. Still haven't hooked it up yet because my cheap Taramps Smart3 has yet to disappoint me. So my Trauma Concussion is still sitting brand new in its box where its been since I got it back in October. I really should hook it up & see how drastic the improvement is through my single 18" sub. I have a bad habit of buying car audio gear (especially amps & subs) when I find it for crazy good pre-order deals or dirt cheap holiday prices that I feel are too good to pass up. A serious weakness of mine, I'm a sucker for great deals on car audio but I have so much new gear just sitting around in its original packages that I have no clue when I'll get around to using it. Atleast I know I have it as a safety net incase I ever fall on hard times. Ppl will always buy car audio & all my new stuff should never lose its value. At the prices I've bought it all at I can only profit from it or at absolute worst still make my money back & break even off each sub or amp IF I needed to sell the gear really fast. Maybe its just me but I feel like a basshead can NEVER have too much car audio gear. No matter what it is: wire, lugs, speakers, amps, subs, distro blocks etc etc... One never knows what they might need if their hobby is car audio or even home audio!
