That’s true to a point. Having been suppressed for so long, Wolverine’s healing factor went into overdrive after Magneto removed his Adamantium, triggering a secondary mutation. Even after getting his skeleton reinfused, his healing factor was still more powerful than it’d been prior.

@@CAiNiAC look i don't remember the detail, but if i'm mistaken, with Adamantium, his healing factor has to work 24/7 in order to neutralize the poisoning, so without it, the healing factor basically become way too powerful it continues to regenerate his cells and basically "evolve" Logan into something that's more animal than human

I am surprise that wolverine was able to defeat sabertooth without his adamantium skeleton. It shows that maybe his adamantium fusion was slowing him down making him stronger but weaker. Due to the lost of adamantium he became more aggressive and animal like. It must’ve been that the metal was helping him balance between human and beast. ❤🖤

Seeing how savage Sabertooth is by nature and they're half brothers, I wouldn't be surprised. Logan is haunted by PTSD where Sabertooth, like most predators, shakes off any trauma he may have endured to keep forward but knows where to still be weary without question

⁠no the adamantium that came from cyber was going to be used by genisis in wolverine issue 100 to bond to wolverine but wolverine rejected the bonding process activating his 2nd mutation which made him more beastlike physically and mentally. The adamantium that was successfully re-bonded to wolverine came from Apocalypse

Animated series got me reading the comics and this storyline was the first one I read as a kid when I started buying the local version of X-Men. Pretty crazy if they adapt this story into ’97.

Of which is why I think they made Adamantium magnetic in the first place otherwise Wolverine wouldn't have any real weaknesses. Even the iron in our bodies isn't magnetic.

From what I remember, Sabertooth in this story was bonded to the Adamantium, and his body basically was rejecting it, him not healing as fast as Logan, Logan being faster without his Adamantium, and Sabertooth feeling the Adamantium poisoning that Logan's healing slowed.

If its apocalypse job to enhance a mutant then why didnt he give wolverine vibranium instead? Or a pure metal

Because it would have the same effect on his healing factor, and he'd be less durable since adamantium is tougher. Also vibranium would hurt him more during fights due to being loaded with kinetic energy and probably explode. Why pure metal? That's a downgrade.

Yep, this was about where I tapped out. I had an X-Men collection that was complete back to the 1960s including all of the hard to find special editions. Once Chris Claremont left the book it was all a nosedive from there.

If memory serves correctly. He ripped sabertooths stomach open. He didn’t die due to his healing factor but was still incapacitated.

He actually outfought him, read a couple of issues of wolverine first class when he meets with Shang Chi, he finally realized that every time he fought Sabertooth he lost because he tried to fight him animal to animal. Victor has never really fought Logan the man. So Logan actually beat him by outfighting him.

Your Info is wrong!!!! Apokalypses 'son' Genesis lured Wolverine Enemy Cyber into a trap and removed Cybers Adamantium. That is the Adamantium that was used. Sabretooth does NOT have Adamantium

You are wrong. Sabretooth has had an adamantium skeleton on two occasions. This occasion is how wolverine got the skeleton back. What you are thinking about is Genesis and the dark riders trying to use cyber's adamantium. But the process fails. Genesis is cable's son.
