This channel is a gem. Also you kind of look similar to Christian Bale when he starred as Ken Miles in Ford v Ferrari

Thank you for watching! At least you didn't say I look like Christian Bale in Thor Love and Thunder! Please make sure to subscribe to help support the channel. I'd really appreciate it.

Thank you for the comparison! I have some roles of my wifes dads old 8mm films and is thinking of buying a similar machine as the Wolverine. I have noticed that it's very hard shadows and white whites in all ov these machines...I was thinking to dissolve the light of the lamp with a grey film to get the blacks more grey and the whites not so washed out in the auto exposure. Have you tried that?

I have not tried that. You can lower the exposure level on both the wolverine and Kodak I believe

Thank you for this comparison. Both images are very noisy. Do you know the Reflecta brand and if so do you think the image is better. If not, do you know of better quality 8 and super 8 scanners? THANKS

Yes, the images are a bit noisy. I have not heard of the Reflecta brand. Do you have a link to it? One of the subs here had talked about a machined called Mark 2 which can be found at www.moviestuff.tv/ Also, a youtuber www.youtube.com/@Filmboy24 demonstrates how to use it. It is pretty cool but it is $$$. For me, I don't think I would ever make my money back from it. Please help support the channel by subscribing. I would really appreciate it.
