Two wolves hunting down a coyote. It happened on Feb. 3 in Heyden, Ontario north of Sault Ste. Marie. You can see the second wolf in the far right of the video at the beginning. (Video courtesy of Ryan Thorburn) FULL STORY: bit.ly/3p1LdnS
Remember when those bleeding heart idoits reintroduced wolves back to the ecosystem? Like this ecosystem has no wolves. So it's been that way for a min. Adjusted to no wolves. Now suddenly, overnight. Wolves. 😂😂😂😂 killed everything because they had no predators and nothing was expecting a wolf. Cried and whined about saving wolves so they wipe out all the defenseless animals because they never think things through. 😂 I am over this brain dead, entitled, lazy woke bs.
@@jeffersongalvez3624 the coyote left the fight part waaay behind when the wolf put him on lunch menu and seemed to be fully committed to the flight part
Great footage!! I don't think the wolf caught it tho, bc after they pass the cameraman, the wolf turns on the burners, but coyote jukes to left & wolf is not agile enough to stay with it. If coyote is indeed "wiley," it knows to juke again, when nec. Thanks for posting!!!
@@pauladwyer2869I saw the separation the coyote created. I think the coyote will win by endurance. The wolf having longer legs will slip more often when they get close. They both have superb endurance being canids.
Hoping the Coyote got away…. He started zigging and zagging and creating distance between he and the wolf… I hope he made it! Thanks for this amazing footage.
Wow.. great to finally hear no commentary and just be able to hear the perfect sound of their feet pounding the snow and ice running full out, then able to hear their lungs working hard as they closer and pass by.. Beautiful footage 👌
Such a dire situation for that coyote, facing an excruciatingly painful death or significant injury leading to such, yet the atmosphere is completely calm, quiet and downright eerie. The sheer brutality of nature is hard to comprehend.
Your humor is appreciated, but wolves aren't usually that stupid to engage a man one on one unless they have some kind of rabies or for some reason are away from their pack and super-super hungry. It's one thing when we as humans understand different animals, their strengths and as a result have a certain level of respect (fear, if you will) towards them, but the animals are just as smart not to look at the human as prey (most of the time) knowing that a motivated man can do surprising things and is more than capable of putting them down.
U know the wolf wont ever catch the coyote cuz coyotes r faster and have more stamina altho the r weaker the wolf wont ever cross the coyote of its list
that coyotes dead, that wolf wasnt even goin fulll speed it clutched at last second to catch him, even if that wolf tired the other one would give chase lol
@@dfgdfbsdfvv832 I hate coyotes myself, but a coyote's average speed is identical to a wolf, but their agility turn on a dime and make so much space between them and a wolf is what makes them such good escape artists. It usually takes a few wolves, harsh winter conditions and a little luck for wolves to get a coyote. If you haven't seen the coyote hunting videos on RU-vid, hunters are now using Greyhounds because their the only animal in the Canidae family (Dogs, Wolves, Foxes, etc) that can outrun a coyote and they need 2 to 3 of them to catch a coyote due to their ability to make so much space when they turn.
@@Primarycolours- Interesting. for 100 meters? I pick the wolf. For Endurance (as you said earlier)? for 200miles? IDK I'd guess the wolf. Now pick the laziest fattest wolf against the laziest fattest human... I'd pick the laziest wolf since it is still alive. Take an average wolf and the average human (mostly fat in the uS) I'd pick the wolf again. (interesting convo TY)
That lends credit to how massive wolves really are, many people think they're like German shepherd size, but they're bigger and when there's 1 unless it's a rogue male looking for a new pack, there are others. They are way more intelligent and savy at hunting then most give them credit for
The wolf is so beautiful, running with such strength and power. There’s another wolf at the start of the vid, all the way to the right, but he gives up and slows down.
actually the wolf chasing the coyote is not what's impressing me its the fact that the wolf has no fear of the humans...and please dont try to tell me he doesn't know that they are there. that's the reason the coyote went so close to the humans hoping it would deter the wolf.
It’s so frustrating when you’re inches away and you get a fake put on you to lose 5-10 feet of distance. Looks like a safety hot on the trails of a receiver who makes a sharp cut to avoid being tackled!
Scott, I’ll bet that wolf caught that coyote. They are stronger, faster, with more stamina and eventually the coyote will turn at bay. One wolf is a tough fight. If any other wolves join in, the coyote will literally be torn to pieces
@@pamtnman1515 not necessarily that coyote is very agile as you can see in the video. Which often times counts for just as much. If he got into some heavy brush for cover the wolf might not have
F**K WHAT ANYONE SAYS there was such an amazing scene and very hard to come by special that close without the either kind of giving s### that is such a rarity see wolves chasing coyotes that close at a human perspective and that's the bottom like hats off whoever was recording this with a phone it's unbelievable
I can almost guarantee you that coyote died a few minutes later because the wolf is a better endurance runner than a coyote. If the coyote does not get in some thick cover where agility can help it’s dead.
Article says "They did get the pounce on the coyote, however, my snowmobile did scare them. The wolves then went one way and the coyote went another.” Coyote 1 Wolfs 0 Otherwise yeah he was a goner. We all saw the wolf chasing a deer for a mile on YT.
I'd say coyotes and wolves are about equal for endurance. But being equal in that regard doesn't help the coyote much since a wolf's longer stride will close the distance.
@El Sucio Federali Actually wolves are very good at killing coyotes and if they weren't hunted so heavily, studies are showing that coyotes wouldn't be the problem they are now. Besides keeping trash . kibble and pets indoors, the best way to keep their numbers down is wolves. But the trophy hunters don't want to hear that.
great footage... both animals so territorial, there is no room for outsiders just as a coyote will chase a red fox in pursuit to kill it.. especially during the winter when food source can become scarcer..
