Woman Accused of Faking Daughter’s Cancer to Collect Money 

How the hell do trained medical professionals not investigate any further into claims like these? If someone says their kid has cancer, surely they’d confirm it with tests and stuff. Whenever a case like this happens, i blame doctors just as much as the parent.

People ask why Gypsy Rose is doing what she is doing.. *THIS IS WHY!* So it doesn't happen to another child. It might as well have been thanks to her that this nurse had the self-awareness to pick up on this. When it happened to Gypsy all the medical establishment failed her because they didn't think someone could be so twisted.

I’m sorry but how aren’t doctors able to see past people faking illnesses.

It’s sickening that people take advantage of illness for money and attention.

This is a lot to take in. She's doing this to her best friend's child, who entrusted her with said child when she was at a low point in her life. This is just awful all around and I hope Shadow gets her daughter back.

That nurse is an ANGEL!! Thank goodness she noticed something was off, she saved that poor girl from MANY more years of abuse, just as Gypsy had experienced.

Sooooooo a school nurse figured this out BUT NOT all the doctors and nurses at the hospitals she took her too?? I was a nurse for a long time and we didn't just take someone's word when they came I asking for certain treatments, procedures, or drugs. Wth?!

This is why it's hard for people do donate to people nowadays. This is sickening, she deserves jail

As a Leukemia survivor myself, stories like these make me sick! People like this one taking advantage of someone so gullible and having them do their dirty work! I especially feel bad considering the real mom was at a low point in her life and finally got back on her feet only to hear that her own child was being taken advantage of by her own best friend who she trusted the care of her child for while she recovered! Gypsy Rose is literally trying to save kids like these, I’m sure she was just as upset after hearing this. I hope that woman rots in prison and the real mom gets the girl back soon!

Weird why dosent the mother have custody yet?

I really hope the biological mother gets to have her second chance and that precious little girl gets to experience what a real mother should be. Bless them both with forgiveness and peace.

Gypsy rose wasn’t the first case Yes to extreme But this has been going on for years and years! Time for these stories to come to light.

But also there was a case where the mother accused was innocent and she ended up comitting suicide two months after they separated her from her ill daughter. Because they treated her like a criminal. Do not trust the police or authorities blindly.

I hope her biological mother wins her back. I feel bad for the mother to have to see her trust be broken. I feel absolutely horroble for that beautiful baby girl. Let God bless her ✝️

How disgusting that this women was trusted by HER BEST FRIEND(child’s biological mother)to take care of HER child so she could sober up and get a better life only for the bio mom to find out her daughter was abused and basically tortured by medical trauma. I am having a hard time comprehending how all these doctors perform procedures on this baby had her hooked up to all kinds of tubes and no one checked to see if the child really had cancer that’s mind-boggling to me all the doctors should be charged with a crime not just this woman but the doctors as well. I hope she gets her child back Lord help her.

How the hell can you sleep doing something like that? Cancer is a brutal unforgiving nightmare. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. The audacity to do this and to a kid? I just can't believe how someone could do this

This makes me sick. right now my granddaughter 22 yrs old that has been fighting cancer is losing her battle got out of hospital today to go home and be on hospice. How can she use her child like this. I'm sick to my stomach. I hope she gets in trouble. And it'll be pretty sad when her daughter grows up and sees this. This disease is awful I wouldn't wish it on anyone . Shame on her

I'm more worries that a student nurse caught up to it and not the doctors and nurses in that hospital. Weird and disturbing.

She is a really strong human/mother, for signing herself up for rehab, it takes a lot of courage! This way, she wanted to become better both for herself and for her daughter. Especially if you think that she gave custody to someone who (at the time, trusted) would take care of the girl, when she was away. I'm really happy that she is in a better place now, does something she loves as a job and that she will try to gain custody of her daughter. She seems like a good human❤😊

I'm so confused by Gypsy Rose was even sentenced to jail if all she did was protect herself in self defense.
