This kind of attitude has been escalating for years. I have experienced many forms of bullying and scare tactics from police and other unknown groups. They want to pressure us into violence and crime. The more we resist, the worse it will get and in my case is getting. Even a simple trip to the local Walmart is like maneuvering thru a minefield. If I had a criminal background and was prone to that behavior it would probably be impossible to resist. Every time I leave my house I have to ask God to bring me home without incident. So to the woman being harassed, stay strong, you are not alone.

All I'd been taught as a child is to always be kind. If you do a lot of things in life like sports, volunteering, working with people from all over ... you learn that they are successful because they were taught to 'see it coming" and prepare to be your own best friend. I sometimes fell into negative situations because it didn't occur to me that others can even get triggered when you are giving them a smile. I have a dash cam now. I learned to use it. As a white woman here in Canada, police are not much different.
