I am working now to try to break that cycle. I left an abusive husband. I've been married now for 25 years, he's smart, witty, keeps my brain happy, makes me laugh. He's not perfect, can be a little lazy lol but I take the bad with the good. It's the right kind of bad, you know?

Great story. I don't know how or why it works, but you're right: what we think creates the world around us. This is important to remember in an age when media (TV, press, radio, facebook, etc) tell us what we should do or think. We might imagine we are immune to this, but it's very hard to resist. Best thing is not to listen to it, or else find a better voice to listen to instead, like God or an an angel.

I had a similar experience in 1990 I was broke and alone and constant pain when in the middle of the night I heard a voice from deep within my mind say "You have nothing to fear I am always with you" It was the same voice that spoke to me when I was over the other side while on the wrong end of CPR in 1980. To regain that joy of living you have to constantly refresh the memory by ideating on that wonderful moment or it will fade like red paint in the Sun.

I read or heard a story that was told by the parent of a little girl. The girl had begun to develop wart like bumps on her face. She was given medicine but they didn't go away. They spread across her face. More medical intervention did nothing and doctors were baffled. The parents were baffled and worried. One day, the little girl told her parents that she was going to tell the bumps to go away. She said to the bumps something like "I love you, but it's time for you to go now"... It's one way to be awakened. 6 yrs ago cancer woke me up. I searched for a natural cure and found they are all "illegal" in the United States. I was forced to have chemotherapy and radiation. I learned that the cancer industry is a trillion dollar business for Drs, hospitals and clinics, so they don't want you to be cured. They want to "treat" you with toxic chemicals and radiation that will cause more cancer down the road. Research the link between sugar and cancer. And search for alternative cancer clinics in your area. I've found one near me just in case I get cancer again. God Bless 🙏

No, you don't have to have NDE to be awakened. As you said yourself, the key is to bring more and more awareness into our life, as well as compassion. And regarding your question about suffering, it occurs when we become too much identified with our egoic identity, and forget our true nature. I would suggest you Eckhart Tolle's book "The power of now", and his many videos on RU-vid. My dad said when he was in the hospital and very ill that he had an out of body experience and that he felt someone gently push him from behind and say "not yet" and he snapped back. He also said that when he would start feeling weak or like he was fading that he would feel taps ontop of his head. My mom used to do that to him to get his attention.

Yes, I can imagine an idyllic world with world peace. I hope that is achieved eventually. But I can also envision a very dystopian world with world peace. Peace is a high value. Yeah, Dr. Cramer is somebody I appreciate very much. It's hard for people to wrap their minds around the idea of time being completely different on the other side. It took me a long time to really get it too but so many NDErs keep explaining it, I finally feel like I have a good grasp of that concept now but I've been reading and listening to NDEs since 1998.

I too have found goodness in the challenge of a chronic illness. Because I think of this as Earth School for our souls to reincarnate, picking a challenge for each life as a way to evolve.
