Before beginning this story, I cannot stress enough Don Bosco’s kindness and love for souls. He reminds us of Our Lord, Jesus Christ in how hordes of people flocked to him to be healed spiritually and even physically. Thousands of people were cured from physical maladies through his intercession while he lived. In this well-documented story, God defends the honor of the priestly vocation. This fact was made known through the voice of Saint John Bosco, who reminds me, in this instance, of a glorious prophet of the Old Testament.
