These poor people being uprooted from their homes is horrid. I'm glad she and Simba are safe and happy.

I’m so glad she was able to escape with her cat. I know that not everyone is lucky enough to escape with even all their family members, let alone with all their pets. I hope they’re gonna be okay now. Edit: What has happened in the replies, everyone?

Here I am enjoying breakfast, and with my own cat near me, and watching this, I can't help but feel how grateful I am to live the way that I do when so many other people and animals experience hardships. I try to do what I can, donating to charities and helping homeless sometimes, but I know it's not enough. Whenever I'm cuddling with my cat and there's a storm or it's snowing outside, I remind her how lucky she is to have a warm and loving home. Videos like this remind myself the same thing.

I’m so happy they were able to escape that hell hole warzone, and I hope they can return back to their home one day once the war is finally over and live peacefully.

I am so terribly sorry for what this woman and millions of her countryman have had to go through and what they must continue to through being caught in a war they never wanted. So many people have lost almost everything, including their pets. This woman is brave and kind and determined. It's great that she was able to save Simba as well. Just one more story of special and resilient people surviving a great tragedy .

I'm glad she and her cat managed to escape without getting hurt all that much, but it saddens me how many good people and their pets were unlucky enough to end up in the cross fire of war. And it's not just pets that are in danger, but also young children, elders, and those with a disability, whether it is physical or mental

I know here in the states doctors actually will "perscribe" your pet as a service pet for people with anxiety. It was very special you & Simba had each other to comfort one another. Im sure he was just as happy as you to be away before things got very bad bad. Simba does seem happy on his new adventures. I know it will take time getting use to, but this is the best place for you. Much love ❤️ & many many blessings to you and Simba.

I have a cat and he is like my world. He follows me everywhere around my house. We do everything together and he know when I'm having a bad day. I am so thankful she and her cat survived. This war has hit home for us & I 🙏 for all who are affected. My daughter is married to her Ukrainian wife & her 🐈. Her 🐈 has helped her cope w/not knowing if her family is safe. Pets are especially important to Ukrainian refugees. God 🙏😇💜 to the people & their pets!!!

This is so heartwarming, I'm so thankful they were able to escape! Unfortunately many heartless people leave animals back and escape by themselves.. i remember last year when the fires were going on in my country, a lot of them were leaving their dogs behind and it was breaking my heart.. Me and my mother didnt have a way to leave and others didn't want to help us because we wanted to take our Bella(our wonderful doggie) and our cats. I simply said that if they don't leave with us, I'm going to burn with them. At some point a couple agreed to help us all but thankfully the fire didn't reach our houses. Thankfully now i have my man and he drives, we will live together so we won't have any problem anymore but still it's so disgusting how people leave behind the most precious souls.

God bless you and all the others that had to make that difficult choice and dangerous journey. With what little you managed to take with you, you took the one thing that makes you feel whole. You had one another for comfort and love while hell was around every corner. Simba and his mom have a bond that will always be cherished. You helped save one another. I feel sad that many other people couldn't do the same even though I'm sure they wish they could have.
