So everyone knows. The rider accidentally shut off the fuel. This being a “freebie” run, all he had to do was trip the tree. She didn’t understand that, and so I assume was attempting to remedy the fuel issue. Rider pushed her away in attempt to get on the line before the bike died, resulting in her falling and taking a fuel line with her-leading to the dq. Hope that helps.

So.....He intended to break the beam and didn't communicate that to his crew, she saw the fuel cut-off switched off as he came to stage, tried to turn it back on, rider tries to shove her away, fellow crew tries to pull her away, she thinks she needs to help despite this, gets properly pulled away and falls, tugging line as she falls (which should have been fastened properly)??? Communication is key

There is a LOT of misinformation here, so I will fill in. After the burnout, he accidentally hit the fuel shutoff. This means in a very short period of time, the bike will run out of fuel and stop. It is a bye run, meaning all he has to do is trip the lights with the bike running and he wins, he does not have to cross the finish line. The lady in the mean time, tried to put the dump can fuel line in like she always does. This takes a little time, and he would have run out of fuel before tripping the lights. So Mr. Tough Guy shoves her out of the way, to run up on the lights. She falls and in the process, pulls the fuel line out and fuel runs all over the ground. Any liquid leaks on the track, you are instantly disqualified.

I haven't laughed as hard as I just did in a long time. Not sure what's funnier, the fall, the disqualification, or his reaction. All are priceless.

The big guy tapped her back and then violently yanked her back like her clothes or hair were about to get caught in something . Definitely not a "fall"

At 1:37 you can see her left shoe does sick to the track by the way she steps towards the bike. If you slow it down to 0.25 speed, at 1:41 you can clearly see she has the fuel line in her hand & that the rider is pushing her away. Looks like her left foot stuck to the ground as the rider pushed her away & the other assistant tried to stop her fall. Why she was disconnecting the fuel line in the first place I've no idea.

What was she out there for in the first place

His emergency tether was caught and the big guy pulled her away while she was trying to fix it subsequently killing the bike, dude was mad because he can't just hit the starter to get it running and if the bikes not running the pass is over.

If you slow the speed down to 0.25 you can see that she was either falling or being pulled away, ended up losing her balance and then reaches for something to hold onto so she doesn't fall but ends up grabbing a fuel line.

She was trying to do one thing, the driver was trying to do something else and the man in the black shirt was trying to pull her away as the driver broke the beam. Her boots stuck to the track and she lost her balance.

So many guys including me would die to have a woman support them in what they do. I hope you watch this video and see that. Bike and wins can all be replaced. But a broken heart is hard to fix.

Her apparel blocked the engine's air intake and the big guy tried to pull her off quickly without hurting her but could not also keep her balanced. Stuff happens, but a loose hanging apparel doesn't have to happen.

I read a lot about her clothing being pulled into the intake. I just don't see it. I did see the fuel line pouring fuel on to the track. Not 100% sure how that happened. I feel bad for the whole team.

I thought her towel got sucked in, so that meant disassembly in order to free it up. A fuel line is a quick fix, and a coat tail would have been pulled out. Her towel is missing when she goes back.

For one,I can't believe the comments on this from people who have no clue how to run one of these bikes.its her job after the burn out to transfer a fuel line from the dump can to the carb.we had a oil pressure problem and I was just going to break the beam,not make a full pass.she couldn't hear me because of my helmet and the bike is very loud.the bike we have here in the fastest in the world in pro fuel and we certainly know what we're doing.after 7 national records & numerous national championships.we are not drunk.on drugs or anything else.we had to thrash just to make it to the line for this pass and everyone was pretty frazzled.I'm sure this will bring more shitty comments,but I can't help that.if you Actully look at any of our other pass's on here you will see what she does to the bike after the burn out.we do go to all the AMRA & MAN CUP races if anyone would like to attend and actully say any of this to my face.but I'm really doubting that.you all have a good day

Note: Any time you are competing in anything and something or someone disrupts it (miscommunication or not) you are going to be upset, especially when it was essentially a free pass. I dont blame him at all for being upset in the moment but it was an honest mistake.

If you look attached to the front cylinder he has a fuel dump can. And the fuel line comes from the bottom and goes to the top. It is an extra fuel feed that goes to the carb for extra power. When it runs dry that's it. He also has two jets on top for more fuel that operate with a solenoid, same reason. It appeared she was trying to hook up the line from the top of the tank to a fitting on the carb when bonehead pulled her away with the hose in her hand. Just a little FYI.

The fuel shut off got bumped in the burn out box. She moved the fuel line with her right hand to get to the fuel valve with her left hand. The guy in the black shirt pulled her away while the fuel line was in her hand, causing the fuel to leak out (you see it on the ground) and starved the engine of fuel. Had the guy in the black shirt just left her alone, there would not have an issue and he probably would have made a clean pass.
