Jeremy Orourke your comment is just silly,what are these people who keep them as pets going to do with them ,when they are a fully grown adult,do you not realise how strong and dangerous they can be then,these lovely wild chimps, should never ever be a pet,leave them in the wild where they belong,its because of idiots like you,we have the need for these wonderful people who rescue them,how would you like to witness your mother being killed in front of you,and then you yourself are taken away to a strange scary place ,use your brain before you comment,you are just making yourself look very uneducated

It's also dangerous to have them as pets, not just for the animal, but for the human. Remember the lady that got her face ripped off? Yeah, not a pleasant story. At least Ella is safe.

Boco Corwin i know i sound liek everyone else but I have a pet snake that I love to death, and I would never had owned one but they were being horribly mistreated along with the other reptiles this breeder owned, very sad I couldn’t save them all, I just don’t have the money or time but I did save one! And don’t worry I did tons of research before hand she’s a great eater and loves cuddles 🥰🐍

There should a law that people should go to jail for murdering chimps like people murdering people.

@Dyed Bliss sorry but i think she handled it quite well,she's aware that these guys know exactly what they're doing & as far as this guy is concerned,Ella could have ended up in some tiny cage somewhere living a life of misery & fear but he didn't care & just wanted to line his pockets.He had the chance to do the right thing when he "bought" her but chose to make money instead

You don't know how he feels about the babe and neither do I so let's not assume what his only concern is. From what we saw he handled the little baby lovingly and gentle. She rips the little chimp away with no regards to the feelings of the chimp at that moment. Different cultures have different standards. What you described is MUCH how American treat dog & kittens & a lot of other animals. I praise this women for saving baby. That being said don't be so quick to judge other cultures when you yourself do the same thing in different form . She was very rude at the moment. Not to just the man but to the lovely babe. Even tho on a mission 2 wrongs NEVER make a right. 🙏🏼

giving up the truth isn’t being stretched at all. Have you ever seen an adult/teen chimp, they’re like 80% muscle (not literally but you get the gist). Out in their natural habitat they hunt for sport in packs, as a social event, kind of like human hunters. Difference is that their bare hands are their weapon and they can rip their victims form limb to limb. As you probably already know, they’re highly social animals, intelligent too. Combine that with their strength and you have a weapon of massive destruction. This is an innate trait, so imagine how they would react when they’re being kept as pets and denied of their nature. Eventually they’ll lash out and go crazy. Wild animals are wild for a reason!!

giving up on top of that, their diet is mainly herbivorous, with the exception of termites and insects. Hunting is purely a sport for them, for social stimulation and to impress the rest of their tribe. When they’re young adults they’re especially destructive so it’s not hard to believe that they would rip someone’s face off, even unprovoked

Mixi pretty sure they don’t do that regularly or are taught to do that from the wild or are doing this from being held captive from bad zoos, Chimps are smart, they are the closest animal to humans, we eat meat regularly (some) and we’re out here in the wild

@@momusbopus4752 No they are VERY violent in the wild and eat meat naturally in the wild.They are omnivores, so they HAVE to eat meat to live. And they KILL animals to get meat.
