He hit the nail on the head. How can low income families pay for pills and surgery if they can't afford the proper food in the first place. If I could afford that then my kids would be in private school. But also 90% of public schools have gym as a class. But they focus on sports instead of health. I'm sure most kids are on their phone at this point. I believe getting kids all these electronics to baby sit for the parents is the first mistake. Kids don't go outside cause kids are killing each other and other things are going on today. It's really a parents responsibility to do more than work.

Went to school in Crown Heights (the largest Jewish neighborhood in NY). Lived in Brownsville (1 neighborhood over). On warm days I would walk the full distance home. I kid you not, you knew when you were at the edge of Crown Heights and about to enter Brownsville. All of a sudden, after walking for a whole 45 mins and seeing not a single fast food joint, Popeyes, Golden Krust, McDonalds, Pizza Hut etc would appear out of nowhere. That's when I knew I only had 10 mins left of walking to make it home. How can you resist that as a kid when that's all you see? Happy Charlemagne brought up that point about food deserts!
