Ladies here are a few tips to look out for: 1. moving to quickly ( trying to move in, asking for a key, talking about long term too soon)2. Love bombing and then picking fights just to repeat the cycle 3. Accusing you of flirting or cheating with every man who's not related to you 4. Going through your things without permission, your phone, laptop, storage boxes, closet etc. 5. Talking badly about the women he dated before you 6. If he treats everyone like crap but is nice to you...your turn is coming 7. if he's over 30 and has a trail of short term relationships and no real friends 8. if he starts asking questions in a way that seems like he's compiling data but never shares the same amount of info 9. If you've dated for a month and don't have concrete/verifiable info about his life before you 10. If he tries to guilt you or coax you into spending all your time with him and less or no time with family and friends.......RUN!!!!!!

I remember her story playing out in real time on Twitter. It was so sickening and so disgusting how this man was standing on her front porch and the stories that she was telling us. The Baltimore police was no help to her. Women please get a GUN or two. They are out here killing black women left and right just for not going on dates with them. We are so sick of this.

The authorities treat stalkers the way educators treat bullies....Things aren't serious until the victim take matters in their own hands. So much could be prevented if/when those in the position could do whatever it takes to make that person feel safe. Just like a child/student shouldn't feel afraid to go to school....A woman/man shouldn't be afraid to be in their homework, work, etc. Stalkers need to feel there are serious consequences to their actions

The sad thing is the police won't do anything until the victims defend themselves and then the VICTIM is treated like the criminal! Our society is so broken....

My sister went through the same thing. After trying to leave several times, she was finally able to do so. She got no help from anyone, because his parent was a sheriff. Years later after relocating, FBI came to her house (had remarried) Her ex was on the run after hurting someone else. It had been over 10 yrs. Wow!!

Traits of a narcissist: - They try to move in with you quickly -Claims he's "in love" with you within a short time -They force gifts on you that you don't want and didn't ask for and they are insulted if you refuse them (lovebombing) -They send you several texts, phone calls, or IG messages in a row without waiting for a reply from you -You give them your number and all of a sudden you get random people texting you claiming they have the wrong number (it's him impersonating) -Your friends and family start to turn on you for no reason and they think that you are disgusting (he is spreading gross lies behind your back) -He tries to use other people to appeal to get you back after you have dumped him (flying monkeys) -Future faking -Very persistent, doesn't take no for an answer -Tries to isolate you from people (usually by turning you against each other) -Probably already has someone as they do not value loyalty to anyone in a relationship -Is secretly bise*ual, not kidding about this one

I have this guy that's still calling me. Even though he's blocked I can still see if he's called. Such a weirdo. Leave people alone if they're done. People have the right to choose!

I understand EVERYTHING this young lady going through!!! Glad I didn't have children we was 5yrs in!!! Less than a year of engaged and living together it ended in one bad choice he made and got caught!!! He tortured the hell out of me for 2yrs, tried beating the crap out of me, got caught tampering with my car, tried to get me fired,even approach a guy he thought I was seeing!! it GOES ON!!! HE said " I NEVER REALLY LOVED HIM IF IT WAS THAT EASY TO WALK AWAY!!" He basically blames me for not fighting for him BECAUSE HE LITERALLY GOT CAUGHT CHEATING!!! No one should EVER have to experience something like this!!!

This story sounds so similar to Taylor McFadden-Robinson’s story, except she was recently murdered on 01/23/2022 by her husband. She tried everything to get help from law enforcement and the courts after he broke into her home, tried to run her over, stalked and harassed her and Florence County (SC) judicial system failed her. He terrorized her while she was being a great mother and building several businesses. The judge didn’t even grant the order of protection. Now, a beautiful young lady and mother of two young boys who had so much life going for her is gone at 29 years old. On 11/15/21, two sisters, Jazmyn and Jamie Green, were also murdered due to domestic violence when one sister was desperately trying to get out of the relationship with the father of her children. He killed both sisters! This also happened in South Carolina, a state with one of the highest rates of domestic violence in the nation. These are just some stories, and I’m sure there are countless others. It because of the laws and lawmakers who appoint the judges. This is NOT right! Thank you for sharing this story so we can contact legislatures and government officials so women who suffer domestic violence can be taken seriously.

Also; if and when you meet someone on social media, you have the responsibility to diligently continue to use the internet to be a detective and see who you are dealing with. If he already had stents with the authorities it would not have been hard to find information on him. A $100 background check can save your life and your families lives. My daughter is having the same situation in Florida right now. Her child’s father have beat her, threatened her, stabbed her, tried to strangulate her, and her case has been addressed by district attorneys in NY and Florida and he still continues his behavior. He is 10 years older than her and got her pregnant at 16 while she was in high school. When we moved her to what we thought was a safe, gated community, he used a private detective to track her and showed up at my home. He called cps in NY and FL multiple times and made false claims of abuse with cps and the police showing up at my home, searching my home, and drug testing my daughter in front of my g-son. He violated multiple OOP from NY. One of his recent act of harassment was to go to court in Fl, told them he lived in my home, that he was threatened by my daughter, and the judge sent the police to my home and threw my daughter out of my home onto the street. He was able to make this claim because he stole my mail out of my mail box, diverted my mail at the post office and sent mail to his address during the diversion and this established him by FL law, as living at my address. By the time we realized our mail was diverted, he removed the diversion and so the PO wouldn’t do anything. He didn’t show up for the court date after he had my daughter removed from my home because he knew this wasn’t true but the judge refused to hear the case further. He continues to show up at my home randomly and threaten my daughter even though the ring is recording him. But it is the attitude of the court and police that is shocking. The court won’t grant an order of protection, and the police won’t arrest him or even take a statement about his behavior. They tell us that until he hurt or kill her there is nothing to do. Do you know how helpless and debilitated we feel. We cannot keep running and changing address because in FL it is so easy to find anyone. My daughter almost never come home anymore and stays at one friend or another’s home at night. We feel so helpless and abandoned. We feel like the court and the police has just left us on our own to handle this this criminal who is known to them. This has sucked the very life out of us. I pray every day for God to protect my daughter. This monster has emotionally,and mentally crippled my daughter. There really is no help for women in these situations.

Hearing all of this just brought me to tears. I went through this years ago & it led to several years of depression. By God’s grace, I’m okay now. He made several Facebook pages, threatened to kill my mother & I, said that he wanted to rape me, hang my body from a tree, etc. This wasn’t even someone I dated. He wanted to pursue me, told me that God said I was his wife & begged me not to pray about him. Ladies, it took me forever to speak up. I was hoping that he would just go away. If someone is threatening you, please say something right away. It could save your life. And please take a self defense class, carry a firearm, etc. I appreciated this segment so much. Most women in the US are not taken seriously in stalking cases. I had a similar situation. Women need to work together and change this and help protect each other.

I've always wondered what makes people stalk someone? Is it about control? Fear? Power? Stalkers are a special kind of sickness. The fact someone spends their entire day texting, creating fake social media sites, following someone, shows a deep level of evilness. Are there programs that can counsel this type of psychological illness?

I broke up with my ex boyfriend in 2014 and the harassment started immediately after. He would come to my jobs and just stare at me from the door, made numerous calls when I could've gotten fired, among other things. I've since changed my number, moved, and changed employment but he would email me for years saying he loved me and wanted me back. About a week ago he calls my phone! Idk how he obtained my information but I'm now awaiting a court date for my harassment claim. I've clearly stated that I want nothing to do with him but he insists that I still love him. Just the thought of him disgusts me so the fact that he believes that is obsurd!

I understand how she feels. Had a stalker moved and it changed my life. Never felt so much peace. I don't know why people decide to stalk someone. I felt I was the nicest most forgiving person and had he changed I could have forgave him. The police aren't always the nicest in those situations but there is usually that 1 officer who makes you feel worth protecting. A woman officer found the guy in the woods near my house. I moved asap. She was God sent. I hate hearing these stories.

This is why I haven't been in a relationship for 9 years. Too traumatizing. I had been through too much by myself without family emotional support. No help from no one...on my own. The man tried to ruin my life. We women need to be extra careful when it comes to dating. At least I feel peace and a great sense of sanity.

I unfortunately now know this feeling now because something that happened over the Christmas holiday. Police do not have a sense of urgency about this type of thing. However, one police sergeant made it clear to me that if there was legislation specifically about grooming and the actions which constitute stalking that would be the thing that would prompt the police to move. I hate that by and large it takes physical harm to the victim or public humiliation of the police department in order for local law enforcement to move on your behalf. The psychological trauma is real and it deserves the same protection as physical harm.

This guy was more than just a narcissist he was also a psychopath. A person who suffers from just narcissistic personality disorder will eventually move on & go to the next victim(supply). But a psychopath is more dangerous & they will kill you. “If I can’t have you no one can” types. I dated a narcissist but thank God he wasn’t a psychopath. I changed my number after being harassed & he just move on. I haven’t heard from him in 4 years! Thank God!

This is serious. I have buried SEVEN close friends, church members and neighbors. They all died in domestic abuse events. There's nothing like waking up to a news report, hearing your friend's 911 call, and learning those were her last moments. Get out while you can!!!

It's not just black women, it's women period. I feel like men still don't think stalking is serious. Like women get killed by their stalkers. I remember telling my brother that someone made me uncomfortable and he said I was overreacting. I think because it doesn't happen to them as often they just don't understand.

This is awful. I have an ex that keeps popping up every year. He stalked me robbed me , broke my prescription eye glasses and the cops did nothing to help me. I had a hard time trying to get a restraining order. This was around the time Sandra Bland was killed . The shady police said I needed to get in the care with them to meet a judge to issue the order. and I was not getting in a car with the police to go anyplace. The newark police did nothing. they just told him to go away for the night. Thank God I got away had to live w/ family for a while and Thank God for them. I blocked him from every social account and still tries it. There needs to be better protection in order for women .It's ridiculous

Wow, a man like this, who has absolutely nothing to live for and no moral compass is a very dangerous individual! Now it’s time to shift mindsets, from victim to victor which consist of taking a self-defense class, training at a firing range and getting a gun, and becoming an advocate for stiffer prison sentences! I experienced a similar situation. Ex that stalked me, sent nasty and embarrassing msgs to me and my friends from fake social media accounts, emails to me and my mom at her job/work email. He truly tried to ruin my friendships and familial relationships. I also called the police on 3-4 different occasions, I tried to file a restraining order and was told that this was not the first time this man had been in trouble with the law but that I had to have evidence of a physical assault before I could file a restraining order and that it takes an overwhelming amount of evidence to get a restraining order from harassment/stalking. They told me to keep a log/file of all the incidents and to call the police if he showed up at my apartment bcz as long as he didn't have belongings or mail being sent there, they could arrest him for trespassing. I live in TX. Then they sent me on my way to fend for myself. I got a few more harassing texts, calls from various numbers and then one day I got a call from a detective who asked a few questions about the situation and after that I never heard from him again.

Wow thank you for this kind of programming. Lots of women get murdered each day because some men exploit the darkness inside them. This man not only needs to be in jail but need serious psychiatrist help.

I feel sorry for her having to deal with that level of trauma and distress, worrying about her kids safety. I’ve been through it you don’t sleep because you’re constantly watching, your kids sleeping not knowing when you will have to fight for your life. When you go to work or to the store you have to watch your back and wear hats pulled down over your face, you can’t go to same places to shop you have to like change who you use to be. It’s hell! Thank God they survived it and he’s in jail, now they gotta have a plan in place for when he gets out they need to leave that state. Simply because this time he did time for his craziness and he’s gonna be angry! We all need to pray for them!

In most states you can go online to check on when someone is released from prison. Aziza may be able to set up alerts to her phone or email. There is no way Aziza should only be relying on law enforcement to check the status.

I had a guy stalk me in college. I was already going through personal health challenges and this caused things to be even worse. When I first met him, I thought he was too charismatic but I decided to be friendly anyways. Things slowly turned crazy. Initially we got to know each other because we had a class together and group projects. When I gave him my number, he would text me normally, but then he wanted to work together and hang out. It got too much, that I told him to his face, I am not interested in working with you. At this point, I didn't realize how crazy things were. Because then, he learned my class schedule and would wait outside my classroom. He wanted to look through my phone at one point. It was just crazy. When I told him to leave me alone, he would write me long messages that he thought I am the love of his life. My brother and my parents friend, who knew him, had to confront him. Thank you Jesus, he is out of my life.

It’s the most terrifying thing. Especially when you have baby’s you have to protect. I never wanted to leave my house. He would try to run me off the road throw things at my car etc. I became a hermit in my house. I blocked my windows with dressers and etc ; the courts allowed supervised visits with our kids , when I had everything on video ! It was the scariest time of my life. I feel your pain babygirl. The police take nothing serious. They say there’s nothing we can do. Etc.

Remember the movie Sanaa Lathan played in "The Perfect Guy ". The guy did exactly that stalked her. The police, regardless which state you live in do has their hands tied legally. Don't forget in Florida a black mother with kids shot warning shot in front of her soon to ex husband. When he continued to walk forward she shot and killed him. The white female D.A. sent her to jail. Yes, she was a domestic violence victim. The white woman D.A. knew it and still sent her to jail. Couple years later her story spread and the people demand her release. The white woman D.A. was fighting against it, but she was release.

This is the best thing about social media. It helps cries or help spread quickly!!! And hold everyone (The Police) who don't act son enough accordingly!!! So glad they are safe.

My baby farther does this to me. But I dated years later just to run across another stalker who recently killed his ex and her boyfriend who stalked me and my daughter even try to talk to my daughter. When I heard he was in jail for murder…. I felt a release, Only to have my kids farther set up another FB and try to send me a request brings terror back into my life. I pray for women like us every time I wake up in fear. Good protect us pleased. I am done dating. I have no faith in ever dating as of now, maybe this will change but I am content in my situation.

Given that this man has been convicted in connection with stalking, I think his face should not have been blurred out. Other women need to be warned about who this man is. It's the only way to help other women stay safe. The police sure aren't going to do it. It feels like they are only willing to come in afterwards to help solve the murders.

Ladies don't let a man come by your house after 4 months, dont introduce him to family or your kids right away, your job info, etc & keep enough distance until you get to fully know a person. I'm so glad she followed her intuition & also making others aware!!
