As a fellow foster child.... I can say with 1,000% authority that we all feel like we were thrown away and discarded. I literally broke down in 😢 because hearing her say that...brought back so many feelings of trauma. No one understands what trauma we go through as foster children and sadly people think that's the better option for children, but it's not!

@itzallaboutadalia
@itzallaboutadalia Год назад
I hate how in the first case how her father and her step brother were invalidating her experience of how she grew up as a child. If she says she felt neglected by him and she said she didn't have a good experience growing up in his household that's her experience and its not their place to invalidate that. I also don't like how some people in the comments of this video is saying that she's a monster child and that her dad put her back in foster care because she's too much. Like ya'll lets be in her shoes for a minute from the minute she was born she felt rejected by her father and her mother and she grew up in the foster care system of course she's going to have some behavioral issues, she even admitted to it herself. Most of us are aware that the foster care system can be a terrible place for a child. It would be then be the fathers cue to get her some help not to throw her back in the system if he was really there for her. Also I do not believe that the father was "always there for her" like he claims because if that was the truth she wouldn't be so emotionally hurt by him and she wouldn't have spent most of her life in foster care. But the one thing I wish we could've figured out what the mother was doing and why she couldn't take care of her daughter. I just felt really bad for her and I wish she had a better support system and hopefully she can repair her relationship with her dad.

@CoffeeCrazy
@CoffeeCrazy 11 месяцев назад
The son was clearly lying in the first case and if you go back and rewatch then you would hear money had nothing to do with her pain. That man knew he was the father and took his dislike for her mother out on his own flesh and blood. If a child of nine comes into your home, I don’t care if she is not related to you, you give her all the love that you can. I don’t care if she was difficult because a child who experiences trauma and abandoned needs a lot of help to cope. We know he was lying because she went into foster care, instead of going directly into her “father’s home. We also know he was lying because when she was in distress as an adult he was not there and when she was going away on deployment, he was too busy. I could never as a parent , no matter if my child was difficult or not do that. He failed as a father, and unfortunately she wants his love so bad that she is willing to subject herself to further rejection. Edited to add. He was always there but he was first introduced to her at 9 years old. You guys need critical thinking class

3rd case: See how Mr. Osorio had to sit over there on the sidelines in silence when the future of his child was being discussed? That's the result when you try and mess with a married woman. Even though he is the father with DNA, he still has no power to do anything because the child was born under wedlock with Mr. Hicks as the legal father. The courts along with Mr. Hicks have to decide to turn over his rights, it's not just DNA. My best friends wife cheated on him an had a child while he was in the military. He came back, got a divorce and got full custody of all of their children including the one that was not his. And he raised them into adulthood. So, if you choose to be a side piece, just know you're going to remain on the sidelines in the eyes of the law. When I was dating I refused to talk to married women even when they were separated on going through divorce. I'd say call me when you got all that taken care of. Marriage trumps everything in the eyes of the law. You can't even be ordered to testify against your spouse in court, it trumps everything.

I chose also to trust in God even when everything was against me , but I knew God would give me the strength to keep going and He did. I had to keep my eyes on Jesus and not on my circumstances.God always came through, he never left me. I am so thankful we have our court system and judges to help us find out the truth. Meka is the spittin' image of Thurman. Put a wig like hers on his bald head and you'd see they could be twins. It's in the center of their faces that makes it obvious he's her dad. EDIT: Regarding the baby's dad in the next case, I've never seen anything so petty. He wasn't taking from her, which is how he said it, "...she didn't deserve it..." and when you give a gift you ought not take it back. I mean as much as we might want to hurt people, it's better to work things out differently. Boxing classes always a good way to work out your issues AND never have to feel like you can't protect yourself again...

I believe her mother was a big problem. Why did she go to foster care in the first or second place.
@dabarapraise8287
@dabarapraise8287 Год назад
First case- the father might not have been perfect but i think he tried. For one, her trauma from being in foster care already made it hard for to blend in with her family and cause she initially felt unwanted, she responded to that indespite whether the father tried to show her love or not. she needed honest conversations, a more loving space and just more show of love and again more honest conversations with love. She said she was a difficult child but that was a trauma response

@@audreyfavorite8463 part of what problem? You don’t know me from Adam. The girl is still angry even years later. Neither parents or brother was angry. She even admitted that she didn’t wanted to be the person she was tiring to be and that’s why she joined the army. She even had a gun. The child has anger issues . Maybe the mom had something else going on but dad tried with her and she came to their home in a fit of anger. Forster care is not always a bad place to be put on. Her home life could have been worse. So, please leave me alone and don’t go around telling folks they’re part of the problem. Because first of all, you don’t know me and my life.
