I searched a long time for that WG Daytona, 20-30 dealers around Europe. They all said, they don´t get that many watches and there is a waiting list for them. But finally a dealer I called had in it in the store and I picked it up!! It´s amazing!!! Sporty and modern. Ceramic bezel with the oysterflex makes it very durable so I wear it almost to often. You forget that it is a 30 000 dollar watch!!
Roman, I have now watched every one of your videos over lockdown they are great ,you and your team are so down to earth and the content is always fun ,and you always cover all brands witch people never see,
Thanks for the awesome video Roman! We all needed some watch content from a watch guy! It’s been a weird week of watch guys talking about each other. Thanks for keeping it real.
I think I’m in love! That AP Royal Oak offshore in the red strap is one of the most beautifull watches I have ever seen! Thank you so much for sharing this with us Roman! Without you most of us would never have the chance of admiring this watches!
Thanks Roman, always informative and enjoyable to watch. I watch a lot of RU-vid watch channels and I think yours is the most transparent of any of them. Is it true that if you have Rolex replace parts during service they don't send back the original parts?
Very impressive video. Loving the vintage GMT lesson!!!! And the mixture of my fave two brands Rolex and AP. I have a new love for vintage so please do more.
Roman - I really enjoy your always-informative videos! One thing: It's either "BY the same token..." ---or--- "AT the same time..." --- But never "AT the same TOKEN"...Hope that helps...
Agree with you that WG Daytona is killer....and on the rubber strap would be perfect for me. I personally would not go for a WG bracelet too heavy...but as you say each to their own. Thanks for the content! Bring on the new studio.
Roman, your video is like a ray of sunshine in this ef-ed up week, at least something to take my mind of the current events. Best regards to you and your family, Sergey
Man Roman thank you!!! I what say you got great info and videos... I decide to now what to get in to the watch Hustling now.. I have been thinking about this for a long time but now I want to start. Roman I have a lot of question?????? I'll keep watching your videos for advice..Thank YOU again
I always love when people bash Rolex and state that "they all look the same" and bring up AP. With the exception of colors/metals, APs all look the same to me. I do like that T3 Offshore, but at 47mm and those protectors on the pushers make it HUGE. Still kinda like it though. But the price is just ridiculous! Great info, Roman! Thanks.
Cheers great content... yeah the red strap looks really cool. Got to pull your leg about it though... last video you mentioned that you don’t like the strap to draw attention away from the watch.... All in good spirits.... as always its about balance and personal taste
Thinking of flipping same Daytona and getting a freshly serviced rose/rubber Offshore same as one on here. Find the Daytona a little small and it’s bugging me. Had an AP Diver and liked the fit/ size. What do you think, yay or nay?
What does it mean when the watch has papers and stickers? Does it mean it’s brand new do you have a video that explains The nickname of the watches like Batman Pepsi etc. And the terminology you guys use and also what makes a Watch more expensive than the other
Hi Roman, great vlog as usual. With regards the rubber bezeled off shore. I guess if you can afford it, you're not going to be phased by replacement costs. But, those rubber pushers and bezel are screaming out for an inexpensive 3D printed replacement part. Shame this would likely cause the residual value of the watch to drop. Keep up the great content!
Any Daytona experts/owners out there? Question. If you arent going to be around water, can you wear a Daytona with the pusher crowns unlocked? I tend to time things on the go. I always looked away from the Daytona because I would never ever unlock and actuate the chrono on the go. Any real world input would be appreciated.
Roman if you are going to do anything please start to warn people how dangerous EBay has become as a selling platform. After selling on EBay for 20 years I left after I understood that EBay was no longer protecting sellers. We need a better and safer way to sell watches.
He knows the market, has years of cliental to be able to buy sell and trade to, and the capitol to back it up. Plus the watches move fast and don't usually stay "on the desk" for too long. He's in it for the short game, most watch buyers buy watches for a long time and in there case it's almost like investing in a car.
