last night i found your channel. i am 24 about to be 25 this April. I always had a strong head of hair growing up all the way till i was about 18. then it started thinning and receding and i always was self aware about it to the point where it was controlling what i did depending how bad my hair looked that day cause of how insecure it made me feel. my "breaking" point for my hair was when i went to see some friends in another state and they commented about my thinning hair. That was the moment i knew it was noticeable. it was a year ago that happened and i finally got courage to make the decision last night from the story's on this channel to make the change. And holy... i look like a diffrent person. i feel more confident then i ever have and rock the new look and my friends agree. And better yet... it got mother approved lol. Seriously. Thank you for giving me the confidence with your channel and others storys to make the leap. Im glad i did.
I love seeing men's partners being so supportive. It kinda sucks going bald as a single guy. I feel like I'd have an easier time with a partner and going bald. A lot of men's fear about losing their hair is losing their ability to attract a partner.
Because you will. You need model-tier bone structure to pull of the bald look and even then most women below 35 will reject you. Hair loss is dating death sentence in 99% of cases.

I can’t believe I’ve been shaving it now for 15 years. When I watch this it brings back the feeling of relief when i finally did it. A weight is just instantly lifted off your shoulders and you remember what confidence feels like.

Following the trail left by youtube, I watched videos by a guy trying to reverse age, including saving his hair and a doctor Gary commenting on that and other ways to battle hair loss. I'm not trying to trash them, I appreciate their honesty and hard work. BUT your approach just seems so much more sensible to this guy. You're not just advocating super-short haircuts, but trying to help guys come to peace with what is. Lots of stuff is what it is, like your color, height and sex and you need to own it and move on. I was born a caucasian male in 1961. Only God can do anything about that and I don't think he's gonna. Please keep up the good work.
In advance, sorry for the broken english. For some reasons but mainly because of a tremendous lack of confidence in myself and stress, I was convinced that I was going bald. Despite I had no clear evidence (no excessive shedding, thinning etc), I did not find a way to get this out of my head. After two months, it was enough : one night, I grabbed my clipper and completely shaved my head. You know what ? It felt AMAZING and liberating. I thought I would look like an egg or something like that, but it was not the case. My friends and my family were of course surprised, but I got nothing but compliments about my look. Overall, I realized that even if I was really going bald, my life would not change. In fact, nothing changed when I did this : people were like « Oh, you shaved your head ? You look good man ! » and that's it. And I know what you fear : women's look. I thought I would not draw attention from women, but weirdly, it was the opposite : I never had so much smile, flirting and eye-contact from women in the following weeks to the day I shaved my head - so trust me : it is not an issue. It got to the point that I thought about keeping my shaved head lmao : some girls told me I looked more masculine like this and that they really liked it this way Anyway enough with my tedious life, thank you Harry ! Honestly man, think of it this way cause it helped me… fuck it. Trust me once you’re through you’re going to love it and wish you did it sooner. Your videos inspired me so much to also shave my hair. I'm 21 and very concious about my hairline and it's the only thing that makes me unsure on myself, the confidence these guy get when they shave it all off is so empowering to see, so next time I'm going to the barber on Feb. 26 I'm going for a 1-2mm buzzcut. just to give my skin time for get some color and look less pale, then around summer I want to go bald completely. Nervous about it ofcourse but I don't have any hats so I won't be able to hide it, so I'm rocking it. Thanks my guy for these new oppertunities!
You know, im balding at 16 and i have pit together a quote that summarizes balding young; "Hair is not part of ur identity. But when you are still developing your identity, its argueably your most valueable asset in doing so, and you dont even know that untill you are realising you are losing it."
A word from the old & wise. Hair is not your most valuable asset when developing your identity. Intelligence, confidence, and being a good person will get you farther in life. Those are foundational and will remain with you all of your life. Hair is just a costume which has no value or substance in the grand scheme of things.
That sucks man, but genuinely, people won't even know the difference after a little while. Anyone new I ever meet who has already gone and shaved their head, I think nothing of it. We build perceptions of ourselves, but in truth, we're usually way off the mark 😅 You'll be fine. Hair doesn't actually define you.
Get your blood work done to make sure it's has to do with male pattern baldness or something else. You could just be deficient in something or maybe getting too much of something.
It's just insane how much better every guy looks once those first strands of hair in the front are shaved off and you get a picture of what they'll look like completely bald. It's like a transformation into a different man.
Hey everyone, thought I would share my experience as other people are doing the same. I always knew that one day I would become bald as my brother and father were bald. I started to notice my hair thinning when I was 18, my barber told me the back was thinning around the crown. Still I kept its long or atleast long on top for another year. This is when I began to notice my widows peak going further back. I then obsessed over it taking many photos and videos to see where exactly it was going. I then couldn’t take it anymore and shaved it. People I was close with asked me why I shaved my head as I still had a good bit of growth over all. At first I felt like I was accepting it and moving on from fixating on my balding. I am now 23 I still have hair in the top of my head but the crown is very thin, I still shave my head but I wear hats all the time. (This is where I need some guidance) I started college this year and I have not been able to take my hat off in front of the people in the class and people are making comments saying they never see my hair this is beginning to become a problem for me and I am becoming more and more ashamed on my bald head, and more so ashamed that I cannot bring my self to be comfortable coming to class without my hat. It feel like when you tell a white lie and then the lie becomes bigger and bigger and eventually you feel consumed by it. Any advise would honestly be so appreciated (Thankyou bald cafe for Sharing your story and also tips and tricks on shaving) As a side note my close friend has called me “bald by choice” since I shaved my head years ago and it makes alot of sense to me now as at the time I was not even noticeably balding to anyone other than myself Thanks to anyone who took the time to read my horribly dyslexic paragraphs.

First guy should rethink his beard since he's decided to go bald. It really makes his face look heavy. Maybe just keep it around his mouth but do a near fade on his cheeks and jawline?
@Baldcafe I also have scars and grooves around my head from a brain injury and partial, temporary skull removal to prevent the excess post-concussive brain swelling from causing ischemia in my brain's right hemisphere... Bad genetics and bad sTBI =(. So, I'll check out that video tonight. Perhaps it will give me the confidence I need to shave my head in the not-so-distant future.
This is great but the sad reality is that the woman who helps you embrace the bald look when already in a relationship with you probably wouldn't have swiped for you or given you her no. at the bar if she met you bald. It's heart-breaking. This is why you need to find a woman before you go bald and never lose her and just hope you remain interested in her. You really are operating from a point of scarcity once you go bald.
Even if you are operating on scarcity so be it honestly. Take on the challenge as best you can. Once you start collecting wins in that area the mind shifts and a new reality begins to

Im 27 and i notice my diffuse thinning is gotten worse. I will try my best to find a wife and get married as soon as possible before i become slick bald. Otherwise i will rope. Please pray for me
You certainly don't sound anything like an alpha male. What a weak sauce comment. You wouldn't even catch a fish with an attitude like that. Yet men like to believe it is hair that is preventing them from a catching a mate. My prayer for you is to get counseling.
