The Stanley Museum of Art presents Isabel Cauas in conversation with Diego Lasansky and Adam Rake.
Isabel Cauas talks about her book project on women printmakers at Taller 99, a renowned printmaking studio in Santiago, Chile. The book profiles 47 female artists who have worked at Taller 99 over the past six decades, each with a unique story of perseverance and creativity in the face of societal constraints.

About the artist: Isabel Cauas is an artist-in-residence at the Lasansky Gallery & Studio in Iowa City in September 2023. Her work includes techniques from printmaking, drawing, painting, and metalsmithing. Based in Santiago, Chile, she is the President of the Board of the Corporación Cultural Taller 99 and teaches lithography at Taller 99.
