He isn’t giving Africa/African countries and/or cultures any credit for creating, inventing anything. Everything is an iteration of what ‘s been gleaned from Europeans traders/Europe ( or other non -Africans) and missionaries. Wow

Like a pair of glorious buttocks these two rise up on the American landscape. No need to compare them, only together do they form the great, immense, incomparably resplendent arse, of American abstract expressionism.God bless these two titans of colossal magnificence.

Mami Wata isn’t white at all. Smh

Right. The "whiteness" in that artist's Mami Wata representation is capitalism. He was paid to make it that way.

Please stop taking advice from West African Christians or Muslims that have been colonized mentally to speak about Mami Wata. She is not a demon.

They are afraid of her power and her magic. So it makes sense that they would call her a demon. Her presence is very strong, especially when she's recognized.

Thanks for the show as i admire both as the greatest artist ever but leaning to de Kooning as the absolute most intriguing Artist ever lived for the same spoken time will tell. Special the series Women 1 … is spectacular timeless.

I can save you the trouble, both their wives were better painters and Pollock’s was the better of the two.

Roberto is remarkable, he was a student of mine in Florida. He was one of the hardest working student I ever had. He didn’t have a lot of formal training back then, but he has a unique vision and incredible work ethic. We are proud of him
