Adam was absolutely right there with Eve, Gen 3:6 and stood by without objection, and he let the snake slander God. Eve followed Adam's lead and let the serpent talk. Adam was her authority and as all women want to be pleasing to their man she allowed herself to be tricked. Woman is the "exer kenegdo" created by God translated "help meet" in Gen 2:18. Ezer Kenegdo is defined as rescuer, savior, helper, warrior. If you do an indepth study of this word you will find it carries the connotation of "in your face" interaction in order to deal with the tasks at hand. The two become one. Eve was not punished for eating, the man was commanded not to eat Gen 2:16, where no law is no sin is imputed.
Adam was responsible for "teaching" Eve which he obviously completely failed at doing this because she doesn't get it right in her conversation with the snake.
As Christian women we are no longer under the curse... the curse of " your desire will be for your man and he will have power over you" is no longer in residence.
