@@striperking6083 - yes, it was the angle of the camera that's the problem. Right after 2:06, at 2:07 is when we see perpendicular for a moment and can see the pack are all within inches of each other. But I believe Abby is just barely ahead of Brittany in lane 3 & Jenna in 4. After 2:07 the angle is changing, and it appears Brittany gets ahead. But in reality they're running neck & neck & essentially tied coming across the finish line. Doesn't look like anyone slowed down until after the finish. Great run by Sydney.
I love that woman (from a distance of course). Great athlete, the way she carries herself, she's truly a Lady. Gaby and Abby in that league... Hopefully all of them medal in the O's.

I was skeptical too. Slow it down to 25% and watch just before and after the finish line. The camera angle is deceiving. Watch the foot falls at the finish line.
Fantastic Sydney. I wish you luck at the Olympics. Iam a Femke bol fan .But Sydney is marvelous. May the best win the 400 m. Both woman are worldclass. If Sydney wins gold I am proud on such fantastic atlete. If Femke wins the same. Both women are responsible soo many new people love these fantastic sport
I saw how gabby looked at Sydney like she know sge cant beat Sydney and wondering if she was gonna start running the 200. Syd is the goat the fastest alive right now PERIOD
Impressed? Yes. Surprised? No. Elite 400m runners are capable of running sub 22 second 200s. Look at Shaunae. When she ran the 200 against elite company, she was expected to do well.
Gabby 🤯 She needs to give up the 100 & keep her focus on the 200 & 400. It’s literally breaking her power down & With Sydney in the 200 it’s gonna be tough for her to continue to compete with her & Abby. A shame 😢

Glad for Sydney, she deserves it. Sure would like to know who is in charge of "LANE-PLACEMENT". WHO ever placed ABBY in lane 7 is a total creep. Abby likes to chase, "FROM THE GITGO"!! Right next to Leverone would have made for better times, "FOR BOTH"!!! THE OLYMPICS WILL BE EXCITING THIS YEAR! HOPEFULLY, injuries will be non- existent this year.
