In 4 mins of watching the English commentator continuously puts the Nigerian sprinters down even though (i) Nigeria finished ahead of England (ii) A Nigerian won the 100m (and 200m) individual events @ the games and (iii) The English team is packed full with 'Nigerian' sprinters! It's surprising what comes out of these peoples mouths sometimes.
That's silly. (i) The games were in Great Britain so BBC would be the official coverage partners (ii) I'm not looking for 'Pro Nigerian' commentary... just objective commentary.. If the Nigerian team ran faster say so... don't come out dismissive of that point and finally (iii) That's just an excuse for people to be intolerant, abusive to others and then say shit like "If you want pro African coverage go back to Africa"
Most of these came to Britain as young children...hardly a case of Britain "stealing" athletes from other countries...in fact I am not aware of them EVER doing so...suppose you'd like to ban these athletes fom running for the country they regard as "home"? A fair number of athletes now running for Turkey who don't speak the language & probably can't name the capital...but think such transfers are currently suspended until new rules come into place: but a rule change will have NO effect on the british team.
Come on British sporting teams are full of immigrants - much much more so than the population at large It may not do much for crime statistics or welfare spending but it does a lot for GB sporting success @@archiewoosung5062
Interview was even granted to the third place English team! What do you expect...? The cononial masters will always boss Nigerian anyplace anytime and anywhere, regardless of Nigerians' superiority in this context! White Vs Black 😢
Only interview the bronze medalist whatever happened to the winning gold medalist the Jamaican team or even the silver medalist the Nigerian team these commentators r so one sided
USA restored order at the 2016 Olympics and 2017 World Championships. JAM should have won here because the USA team was composed of sentimental runners in place of the best at the time. Sanya Richards Ross and Francena Mcorory should NOT have been on this relay team, they didn't qualify for these games. 400 finalist Phyllis Francis, and 400 hurdles silver medalist Shamir Little should have run instead. But they were watching from the stands.
@@steve-hm1wn I didn't get the comment by Randall either. 🤔 And talking about Sanya. She was not on a US team in 2016 or 2017. She basically got hurt at the 2016 US Olympic trials and subsequently retired from track and field. Was at 2016 Olympics and 2017 World Championships as a commentator. And the last time she ran on the US 4×4 team for the US was the 2015 world championships which they won, as do most of the relay teams she runs on. So saying she shouldn't have been on it seems odd. And the comment about Jamaica should have won because US had sentimental people on there is baffling. There was no mention of US in this video at all, and US fielding a weak team has never been the reason for Jamaica to win a 4×1 relay. We always compete with the US. Sometimes we win, and sometimes we loose. Don't dismiss or demean our victories as just because US has a weak team in a race. That's very disrespectful. To make Randall comment ever worse is the fact that it's a comment about people who run on a 4×4 relay when the video is about a 4×1 relay. Doesn't make much sense and proves he's not that versed on the sport. Sanya doesn't run 4×1 relays, she runs 4×4. Very strange comment. Everyone is free to comment I suppose. Ah well to each their own. 🤷🏾♂️
Jody jamaica not just a better team on the day. You will not be able to beat jamaica once baton changes get round ok. Plz! lol. Blessing Okegbare was the best you were up against in the 200m. She knew the race was hers. plz! lol. If safp or vcb was fit the medals would not have been the same result in the 200m finals. Don't talk too much! lets see what you can produce in world 2015. It's not about beating the jamaicans when you're still 'amateur' you'll get injured. lol, on the day you did well!
