What if someone is 8 years into menopause who has had hot flashes for over 10 years, with uterine fibroids? This is so complex and hard to gage and scary for women close to the window of opportunity closing.
I'm 65y menopausal, was on BIHT until 62, stopped because I was continuing to menstruate and often iron deficient. Started having severe hot flashes so now doing patch and progestin, Started bleeding again, had hysteroscopy continuing to have bleeding every other week since hysteroscopy 6 weeks ago. Progestin is 100mg QD, don't want to have hysterectomy if I don't have to, is my Progestin too low? Going in for follow up this week.
