My dad thinks that I shouldn't compete just to prove myself, because I'm just a beginner by learning how to do boxing 🥊 but when it comes to competing you got to have heart I mean it's a dangerous sport I know, fighters like this need to be healthy & also need to train harder and harder and harder and harder, just to do competition to see who is the best.

I have zero sympathy for a sportsman/sportswoman who, clearly realizing that the opponent was knocked out, continues to beat him on the ground. Anyone who practises such sports knows when their opponent is knocked out. Completely unacceptable. That has nothing to do with sport either. What would it be like without a referee? When would the opponent stop? When the skull has burst?

Ooooch ! 😲 I worry for for the bodies / brains of the super-brave Ladies ( & Gents ) who don't make it to the top or thereabouts and so get stuck in a repetitive cycle of fighting - for way too long - at the wrong and of the "sport" . Sexist remark coming - bite me - the 'Lobo' Lady in the blue s/bra should be walking down a catwalk in designer silks NOT opening herself upto this kind of potential damage . I know I sound like a pussy But someone's got to care . I know I HAVE TO , but I struggle to see this as a "sport" for the above reasons.... It's a business where people who have never been near a ring get super-rich ( granted and make others -but not all- rich ) based on the blood ,sweat, tears, pain and efforts of these same others . Glorified pimping ? Debatable . Yes . I watched the video . Intriguing . Fascinating . Amazing . Definitely admirable . But , the human cost ? ? Some of these are TKOs, not actual KOs. Also, hitting an opponent after they go down with a hard strike, is very unsportsmanlike. It's obvious that the fight's over when they go down like that, so jumping down on them and continue striking is a total dick move.
