This is such a stupid sport. There is this big court but the players just end of close to the net volleying. So stupid.

it's easier to hit it when you're close, the ball doesn't go as far as it would if you were playing a sport like tennis. otherwise they'd be hitting it hard if they were farther back (or atleast that's how I play it lol but I'm no professional)

You might find singles more enjoyable where a lot of the play is at the back of the court.

Table tennis is such a stupid sport. They play in this giant room, but they just end up at the table hitting the ball back and forth at an insanely high speed. So stupid.
