+TiFFerzZehNiNjA omg I thought that it was only me who felt that way! I always had a feeling that my dead grandparents would see me and be disappointed in me because i get all good grades and all that! LOL
All the other girls are like telling big stories and stuff, like omg the toothbrush, the shower, the massager............. I PURELY STARTED WITH MY HANDS!
I can usually go five minutes until I get there, then once I get there I get really sensitive there, my mind goes blank, and I am disgusted by what I do
I'm actually tired of being discusted of myself. But knowing that everybody does that and some people feel weird after it just like me makes me feel better
Wolf Song I rub my vagina and then I feel fluttery. I keep on doing it and my back arches, and if I go for another 30 seconds I orgasm and it lasts about 20 seconds before my hand gets tired Edit: don’t be disgusted by it, lots of people do it (like me 😂) and it is 100% normal
I was 8. I'd sit on a pillow on a chair in my room and just.... Grind on it... Yeah. Didn't know what it was until I was 13; then I felt weird about it.
***** give me a break. I knew what masturbation was when i was 10. We are not saying she is weird for not masturbating, but its the fact that she didn't know it was possible that is ridiculous.
Javan Fc Babies obviously dont masturbate as we do, they dont do it in order to get an orgasm they just touch that area because it "feels nice" ITS NATURAL
Hold on a minute, all women/girls I know see masturbation as something bad and they keep on saying that it's filthy and disgusting. I don't think it's the overall society holding women back, but it's their own mindset.
Max S It's a cycle Women are raised to think it's a bad thing. So when they're older they pass on that idea to the next generation, and so on. It's the individual mindset, but that mindset tends to come from societal pressures throughout their life. If you are never told that something shouldn't be done, you'll never think twice about if you should do it or not. It's training. The people in this video that didn't even know it was a thing you could do until later in their life were never presented with that option growing up. They were not told it was possible, so they lived in ignorance. And others grow up being told it's something that is dirty and that they can't do it, so rather than trying it for themselves, they live on believing it's dirty. You don't /need/ to touch a stove and burn yourself to learn that it's hot. Some just know not to do it because they're taught not to.
I don't think that's really how it started though. Somewhere along the line women were told their own masturbation and sexuality was frowned and looked down upon, so women have sort of adapted this mindset that they should act like they don't because they've been told it's wrong or weird. Thus comes the denial and guilt and the "ews." The denial continues and then this circle keeps repeating.
Max S Maybe they're just religious? I mean, I don't talk about masturbation with girls and that's because that's personal stuff. I don't even talk about with guys.
Max S I'm absolutely the opposite... my friends and I are very open-minded with this! And.. being able to talk about masturbation with them is fantastic!
Why do the videos about women always start with "if its ok for men to do *blank* why isnt it ok for women to do *blank*". Why does it always have to be a gender thing if women just started to casually talk about it then it would become a common thing.
Buzzfeed is strongly liberal. Sometimes they do well in being progressive, like being inclusive and diverse for the actors in their skit videos. Other times, their methods of promoting their interests do not work out quite so well, like in this case where the girl's comment at the beginning is a little uncomfortable.
Dallas Cade Because it is a gender thing??? Men literally talk about beating their meat all the time, yet women are made to not only suppress conversations about sexual desires, but to suppress the sexual desires themselves.
All this video is doing is trying to start a dialogue and let other women know that they should start talking about masturbation casually. Its goal is literally what you are saying it should be. Commenters like you are the only ones who blow videos like this out of proportion
I don't really get turned on by porn. And yes for me fanfiction is a way better source for me. Mostly imagines or "fangirl roleplaying" with Andy biersack. Or literally just the time that Andy read fifty shades of grey
@@manuelhonorato7276 it’s literally psychological stimulation. Anticipation and imagination of a sensual thing can lead to climax with or without physical stimulation. It’s a thing. Many people get turned on by words cause it’s erotic stimulus. Proven scientifically. Actually most people do to some degree. Some it’s like once in a while when other it’s all the time. Can bring to orgasm and sometimes even without masturbating. It’s the power of the brain
Leah Killjoy Has anyone forbid girls from talking about it? Is there social stigma about it? Not at all. Maybe girls just don't want to talk about it amongst themselves? Maybe allot of girls haven't already masturbated!
I started at age 10... I discovered it by myself without learning it from anywhere... and I didn't know I was masturbating (didn't know that word lol and I didn't understand the concept of masturbation neither xD) xD I even thought I was the only one in the world to do it and that it could be unhealthy... xD I thought I should stop, but I couldn't and I still can't hahaha
I feel safe in this comment section. I’ve also learned about a ton of things that feel good. But I’m not sure I’m ready to sacrifice my electric toothbrush just yet, mom just bought it for me.
I dont think that's really what they mean. Just that it's culturally acceptable and widely known that men masturbate, and that all men do it. But the outlook of masturbation is different in the sense that it's 'sushed' and shamed
JUST ANOTHER LA DEVOTEEEEE SUNSETS ON THE EVIL EYE INVISIBLE TO THE HOLLYWOOD SHRINE ALWAYS ON THE HUNT FOR A LITTLE MORE TIME JUST ANOTHER LA DEVOTEEEE
Has anyone noticed that youtube comments sections are basically where MRA talking points come to die, just like tumblr is where feminist talking points go to die? At least all the crazies from both sides decide to concentrate themselves in single places....
***** I am, I just mean that RU-vid comment sections have become where the dumbest of the dumb MRAs come to beat their dead horse, just like the dumbest of dumb feminists go to tumblr to do the same.
Yasia De Lausnay eh, it's more about how men get screwed over in divorce court, how a majority never get custody of their kids, aren't offered as many scholarships etc. They have no political stance on other issues I think they just concentrate on what effects them, which is fine. There are some feminist points I get and agree with, but I don't believe in patriarchy theory so I'm not a feminist. I also don't like how they believe white people can't be discriminated against. Do they go through the same discrimination as minorities? Of course not, not even close, but to HONESTLY believe whites NEVER get discriminated against due to their race is ignorant IMO. There are no absolutes but feminism has quite a few as does MRA. I can also see that MRA has some valid points but they are more about just defending men. That's why I'm an egalitarian if anything.
i9incher I already wrote a disclaimer in the end, stating that I do not think men have no problems. In response to what you say, I would like to add that many of their problems are adressed by feminists as well. For instance the case of getting custody, is based on traditional roles of men and women that need to be re-adressed critically. It is not okay to assume a mother's role is more important, and more biologically inherent than a father's role. (Yes, she carries the baby, and then what? Most of it is habit, tradition, effects of economic inequality etc.) I believe judges should pay more attention to the personal arrangement of the parents. The context also plays a part in that. Women more often stay home with the kids, which heightens their chance of getting custody in a divorce. If we could break that uneven habit, like sweden is doing, and motivate parents to divide the time with the kids more evenly, that would help with the divorce inequality. My point is, we are connected. Our problems are connected. We can all help each other get the best of both worlds. (For instancr work and family)
kittenlove84 So the guys are being blamed for girls making it a taboo to talk about amongst eachother, even though men would love it if they did? Shit just got real, sister.
kittenlove84 since when do guys talk about it with girls? so just talk about it with your ''friends'' and not the internet. it makes no sense i've not seen a single guy masturbation video on youtube, buzzfeed excluded, so why be a bitch about it?
I went to an all girls high school and all the girls would just not be ashamed or shy to talk about it (since there was no boys to judge or make fun of us). We we're just all really open about it since we we're all teens and had overdrived hormones. I think I first went at it when I was 14, after I woken up from a wet dream and felt that I wasnt ''completely satisfied''.
Sounds crazy, but 19 years old. Everyone is shocked when they hear I'm so late to the party but it took a lot of courage to get me here because of the way I was raised
It's crazy because I was doing it for YEARS having no idea what I was doing. I only found out what it was when I was like 13. I even asked my mom one time when I was like 8 and she totally ignored me lololol.
I am 18 and I don't feel the need to do it.I just focus on school and my future. But honestly I think it's bad for kids to start doing it because instead of playing like.... kids I feel like they grow up too fast and know a little too much. I always liked that my childhood was composed of cartoons and games.
I completely disagree. My childhood was pretty much focused around cartoons and playing games and basically childish things and yet I sort of "discovered" it at age nine. Kids are naturally curious and it's pretty normal for them to do things like this, especially if it feels enjoyable. Male babies and toddlers are also prone to "masturbating" in a way.
E123Epicness It's really not the guys though I don't think. It's mostly women creating the taboo for other women I've observed, and it's crazy rampant.
I always find women talk to be funny. They always say stuff like, " If guys can talk about it..." No one (no man at least) has ever said, "Please DON'T tell me about your masturbation experiences."
i dnt think that’s the case it’s more like women don’t feel as open as to talk about it as compared to men because both men and women shame them for doing so literally it’s like a taboo subject
ok I already know that nobody is going to believe me but; I'm 18 and I never mastrubated. Not even once. Not because I think there is something wrong with it, not at all. It's totally okay when girls (and boys of course too) mastrubate. I just never felt like doing it. And I'm really sorry for my bad english.
When I was in second grade, I was having a lot of issues with stomach aches, and being, like, 6, I assumed it was because my pants were too tight, so the class would be sitting on the carpet or whatever, and I would pull my waistband out to try and make it looser. My teacher would always be like "that's so disgusting, go to the bathroom and wash your hands!" I was so confused as to why, and it didn't occur to me until much later that she thought I was touching myself in the middle of class
I was 8 ish years old and I became so guilty for doing it. I thought I was going to get prostate cancer lmao. I remember telling my mom "I lay in the tub with the faucet running on me until I feel like I have to go pee" 😂😂😂😂😂 I'm such a strange human
I found out when I was 13. I would fart, and It would make me feel good down there. I do it every time I’m stressed, or procrastinating doing homework. Enough said
I was really young. Maybe around 5. I didn't know what it was but I liked the feeling. I stopped at 7 when my dad caught me and flipped out, telling me I was too young. Then started up again at 14 when I realized it was completely normal.
We need more women's stories like these! Sexuality as it is shared in media is so make oriented! Let's get an equal female experience! (Coming from a gay man) 😊
"If guys can talk about it, why can't we talk about it?" "Why do we talk about guys waving their dicks around but we can't talk about women doing something that's healthy and normal for themselves?" I'd like to start by saying that I completely agree that masturbation is nothing to be ashamed of. However I'd also like to say that people generally don't talk about guys waving their dicks around or masturbation in public. If someone came up to me in the streets and asked me about how I masturbate or how often I masturbate I'd probably call the cops and press sexual harassment charges. Also, as a guy, I'd like to say that I don't talk about masturbation seriously with anyone other than my doctor or family. It's a personal issue for me that I don't think other people need to know about, nor would I want them to know.
Ok what about a supposed survey tho but not specifically asking about masturbation but other questions too. Thats what i am thinking of doing cuz I am honestly curious. I feel all the girls here are lying idk why
@@nuskyahmad6375 Surveys are generally a poor way of gaining any accurate statistics. They're riddled with biases of all sorts and the sample size required for an accurate statistic reflecting the general public is way too monumentally large to be had with surveys. It would take a tremendous amount of time, effort, resources, and cooperation to get any remotely reasonable statistic that way, and then you'd have to worry about how long it took to acquire said statistic and whether or not the passage of time would have changed the public's opinion by then, among numerous other hidden variables.
My last ex tried to tell me that girls don't masterbate at all. Not wanting to get in ANOTHER argument, I didn't push the matter. But either her and all of her friends were prudes, or none of them would admit to the others that they self-pleasured themselves.
Tried to watch a yugioh movie on dvd without knowing my big bro had a porno already in the dvd player.... so when i turned on the dvd player... everything changed.
"Everybody does it." No, and it's a little annoying everyone just assumes this to be true because that justifies the follow up assumption that something is wrong with you if you don't.
When I was young (like 4) I was rubbing on furniture, but I didn’t know what I was doing, all I knew is that it felt good (but knew I wasn’t really supposed to be doing it) but only realized what masturbation was when I was like 12 and realized I’ve been doing it for a while
Alexandra M I used an electric toothbrush I was tidying my bedroom and just seen my toothbrush and was like I wonder what this would feel like it felt good 😁
