Anahi Ortega-Romano I AGREE!! We just need someone who has access to and knows how to use photoshop and other vegetables for the others! I’m thinking Cucumber Mikey. Celery Ray. Spring Onion Frank. Thoughts?
OK so go to the RU-vid channel "Sam and Jess" and the one where Sam asks Jess embarrassing questions girls are afraid to answer. She said that she had a best friend Connie and she pulled out her tampon....... COINCIDENCE OR NOT?
Merle: talks about her grandmother and all the guys being obsessed with her back in the day Also Merle: now i know where i get it from (Aria is listening for sure) 😂
I don't know my name that’s the thing, it was so painful, I just decided it wasn’t worth it, so never wore it again. And the process of sticking it up there took way to long for my liking.
I experienced the string breaking on my tampon in 8th grade and it was horrifying!!! Now I have a habit of yanking on the string as hard as I can before anything hahah
I started when I was 11 and was the only girl confident about my period for yearssss. I didn’t care about telling people if I had an accident, I didn’t care about asking for tampons or midol but other girls were so weird about that stuff for the longest time lol
Me and my female friends are are super chill about it, even around our guy friends. That being said, one is trans and one is gay, but both of them are super chill about it too 😂 Also, don’t know if it’s related, but our gay guy friend carries ibuprofen in his bag, and I can definitely see one of us being like “omg I have such bad cramps” and him just having that to help us. Like, he’s an angel I love him
I'm 17watching this I went from a child birth video to this I just want to say guys don't go through half what women go through I just want to say your all amazing and beautiful 💗
2 months ago I was at school in 3rd period, me and u best friend Johnathon were just on our phones when I felt like I was having really bad cramps (I didn't get my period for 3 months) so I asked to use the bathroom when I did I realized I started my period. I was freaking out because I didn't bring my bag with me, so I texted Johnathon saying "SOS" 5 times on insta I told him I started my period and I needed my bag, he said "I got you" he took my bag ran out of class into the girls restroom to give me my pad. Ever since then he has been my ride or die because he almost got suspended for doing that. 💜💜
As I’m watching this I’m literally having a TSS scare so wish me luck y’all 🤪🤪 Update: no symptoms so far (my main fear was that it had been lost inside of me which I’ve heard is a thing) but I’m doing ok so I think we can hold off going to the ER for now! :) thank you endlessly for all the likes and sweet comments 💖 Second update for anyone still following: I’m totally in the clear!! Ended up just being a bad cold with a fever and a random hand rash- went to the ER anyway to get checked and I’m in the clear. Thank you all so so so so much for the support and love 💖💖
Connie and “Jessica” are like me and my friend. She and I always go to the bathroom together because when we’re on our periods, we hate being alone. Like one time her bra strap came undone and I helped her fix her bra but that’s a different story😂. Anyways, she was on her period and we both were out of pads, but I had tampons. She had never used one before and I actually had to put it in for her because she didn’t know what she was doing. So I put it in and wash my hands and then later that day at lunch time she and I go into the bathroom and behind the stall door, I hear “THE STRING BROKE THE STRING BROKE WHAT DO I DO?!” and I calm her down and assess the situation. The string is indeed gone, the tampon can’t be pushed out, and she is panicking like crazy. So I wash my hands, lock the stall door, and pull it out of her. Ever since then we have been even closer than before and nothing is awkward with us😂
Omg we need one of these for menstrual cups, I was trying so hard to be good to the environment y'all, I was doing the absolute most when I was like okay, I'm going to invest in one so I did but when I tried to use it, it got stuck, it was so damn large that I had to push it out, I tore internally and externally and I cried for about 2 days with the pain of peeing afterwards 😂😭 never again ahahah
For the girls out here: I recommend a menstrual cup for the people that use tampons regularly or want to change to tampons. It's very durable. The cup is made of silicone and can be easily cleaned. You can use it for roughly 10 years. It's also great for girls that bleed heavily and think it's a waste of money. You'd think that 10 dollars (I don't know the exact price) is a lot of money at first, but if you calculate you have your period for almost 40 years straight (on average it's 38 years). Also a menstrual cup seems difficult to insert but it needs a bit practice (tampons also need some practice so why not use a menstrual cup instead?) I hope someone'll read this and try it out!❤ Ps. If someone has questions, ask me! Just trying to help girls out!💕
Precious Gonzales even though there is a learning curve it’s absolutely fine to use for a virgin. as soon as you get your first period you can use a menstrual cup !
Kimberley Muller Menstrual cups and PCOS don't mix... just a warning to some people who have heavy bleeding. I can see them being useful for moderate heavy bleeding. But for severely heavy bleeding? ..just..just stick to changing the super+ tampon every hour or two.
When I went to a Renaissance Faire I had a lot of mead that day.. Went to the bathroom, put in a new tampon. Forgot to take the other one out! So I was walking around the rest of the day, feeling a bit odd, then to my horror when I got home and realized there were *two* strings. I was fine, got them out (thank goodness I use the lightest ones cause I'm terrified of TSS) but gosh.. I was mortified and so embarrassed.
I made the same mistake when I was younger and first started using them! I don't remember how it happened, but when I realized, oh I was so mortified and embarrassed as well. I still much prefer them to pads, but I'm definitely more cautious now.
@@isabellagrimes848 Yes, thank you!! You totally get it! That comment made me chuckle! I did have some meat that day too ahahaaa. But thanks for clarifying! Had a long day and this just made it all worth it!
I was 13 trying to use a tampon and I put one in and fainted, it was scary I started to shake and couldn’t control my body and fell to the ground(my lips were white) then my parents took me to the hospital lmao
@@madik1785 Understandable, but you would only get a toxic shock if you forget your tampon for like 8 hours, and even then VERY unlikely to happen. I use tampons since I was 13 (I am 16) and totally fine!
I started using tampons recently and they are SO MUCH COMFIER than pads, mainly because your not giving birth to a jellyfish every time you sneeze! Lol
I was 11 when I got my period and my first time using a tampon was interesting because I wasn’t sure which hole to put the tampon in, I thought it went in the hole where I peed out of😂
You are not alone. My friend and I decided we were both going to try them out. We chose the stalls next to each other and proceeded to verbally try and figure it out together. We didnt, had to put back on our pampers(that's what we called the huge pads the nurse office provided.) It wasn't until we turned 17 that we figured out how to use them.
once i put on a tampon cause i was going to the pool, but my period was at its very end so i was really dry. end of story i spent hours with that thing inside of me bc i pulled and pulled and pulled and it was so dry it just WOULDNT COME OUT. i had to lie down and have my mom freaking take it out of me (a low point in my life). i swore i would never wear a tampon again... one month later i wore only tampons for a whole week on my summer vacation.
That happened to me also and it was by far one of the most embarrasing moments of my life because my boyfriend was the one taking it out. But the one that scared me the most was when I left the tampon over 24 hours hours inside. I never registered in my head I had put it in when I was half sleep and the next day I noticed it in the shower. I was totally freaking out.
Tampons are mostly for the heavy days and should NEVER go in when you’re on your last days because you’re mostly dry. What happens is when you insert it into your vagina you can actually scratch the walls of your vagina which causes the bacteria S. aureus (which is a good bacteria and part of our microbiota) but it CAN turn into a bad bacteria and enter the bloodstream through the scratches and cause TSS.
Claudia Mora omg I feel like there’s still so much I don’t know about periods. They should seriously teach this all in school. Like have a short one day seminar explaining how things work and all the options we have.
Ailin Ell Yeah it’s a lot of information. I learned this in clinical microbiology as a prerequisite for nursing schools and still the professor said we were ONLY learning the basic of it.
I started once during 9th grade science class. Totally bled thru..😂 but I ask my best friend at the time to use her sweater because I walked home. She said no.. (thankfully nobody noticed my bloody pants while walking home) but two weeks later she started and asked and if she could use my sweater.. I said no 😂 nothing like getting karma like that because everyone noticed her bloody pants 😂🤷♀️
