I made a video (you can’t see it now because I deleted my channel) that was basically about how children act in the masjid, it was supposed to be a funny joke but someone took it to seriously and said “why are you going to the masjid when you’re a woman? The prophet (saw) said women should pray at home” and “you shouldn’t bring children to the mosque regardless because they’ll disturb people who are praying”. I told them as nicely as I could that Muhammad (saw) like children going to the mosque and said you should never ban women from going to the mosque. I usually go there because my father goes to the mosque and so do my siblings and my mother sometimes goes but usually she stays home because she’s cooking or taking care of our cats. She always encourages me to go because she always says that she wants me to get the full reward. They just got mad and kept saying that women SHOULD be ban from mosques because they belong at home. I tried to reason with them but they wouldn’t listen. And that was why I ended up deleting my channel because they were being disrespectful and tried to play “god”. It’s not up to us to say that women should stay home and not do anything, we still get the rewards of praying in the mosque regardless. May Allah forgive these people and help them see that Islam doesn’t say that women belong in the kitchen. I’m not a feminist but I know that women still have rights in Islam because it’s not like how others perceive it to be. May Allah guide us all and forgive our sins. Ameen.
The slight issue here is the modern day men have gotten used to wives working to help pay for their own lives or told they must pay towards all family costs. Yet refuse to help either around the home or actually be a father to the children. I have been working from age of 11 because I have been grew up without any guidance.. and I am still working I am independent And I am proud of that ..
There are conditions to be observed, which is important and essential It's not like it's Halal to work in mixed place where the Muslim woman would be sitting next to men and chating, or she is dressing nice to show her body, wearing makeup, perfume, high heels And to be honest, as a woman, I think it's soooo hard for us not to do these things, so we can try working from home, not because we are repressed, but because most work environments these days are absolutely not Halal, like which job will allow you to keep your niqab, and not to "look and sound" attractive?? We need to be clear and honest before we say, yes go work anywhere even if you don't need to, because Sahabyat did!! Like WHAT are you talking about!
May Allah strenghen you. We muslims are weak as we should work hard and provide for our families as well as for those who can not work. Because of us (weak muslim man) you have such trial. But you still should try tu make it in halal way.
Salam Sister, i understand where you are coming from but just because you might find it hard to work while not to “show body, wearing high heels” doesn’t represent most women. please speak for yourself and not generalise everyone PS : i completely disagree with Women wearing to “show body” and etc, but to say that EVERY women do that at work is just ridiculous. think carefully, do your parents work? did your mom “show her body” ? Exactly.. think before saying something Sister, peace ✌🏽

The basic principle is that a woman should remain at home, and not go out except for necessary purposes. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And stay in your houses, and do not display yourselves like that of the times of ignorance” [al-Ahzaab 33:33].

One of the most problem nowadays with Muslim women is that they start to become feminist, and wants to work and go out without the blessings of their other half or their father when they are supposed to understand their dynamics of a muslim unit and the purpose is to get to Jannah together. Whatever outside that the modern muslim woman search are not going to lead her in Jannah except with her husband. That being said do whatever you all want and answer for it later.
Do your women only meet with their mehrams? Don't your brother come b4 your wife? Where does your "don't mix" theory go when its time to give your wife a separate home??
I'm a lawyer, I have had to work with both genders. Yes, law offices are mixed. Most Court system are mixed. This is 21st century. As long as your faith and ethics are strong, you will not allow anyone to harm you. If they try to harass you, sue them or file a complaint, take action. :) Also, we can't compare 21st century with how things were 1400 + years ago. People evolve, society evolve, technology evolves, mentality evolves. Also, by strictly following this "Not permissible” rule, how are you going to make a living to survive?. It is exactly this faulty logic that most families prefer to have a son (who they assume will be the provider and breadwinner) over daughters because apparently daughters can't be allowed to work due to free mixing and she's a burden on the family. ???
@Yassine Ma'am. I'm a working woman Sir. With no brother or a father. Just 3 sisters. How are we going to survive if we don't work? My husband doesn't make enough money and he has to take care of his mother and sister. Should I divorce him because he earns less, just because I can't work in a free mixing society? How will Islam solve my dilemma? I strictly believe that Allah help those who help themselves. That's why I have to remain active in work. Will it be fair on me to put pressure on my husband to make more money? Or be jealous of my female in-laws? How will you solve the problem of mother, sister, and wife all asking from one man to support them. Won't that create competition and jealousy? Life is challenging brother /sister.
We are in end times. Current environment is not suitable for woman to work as the woman of the past did. Today the workplaces are organized in a way that it leads us to zina as compared to old times. Everything must be considered.
@@hatersrmotivators6477 I am not talking about rape. It is compulsory for men to work and look after his family. But it is not compulsory for women. If there are no women in the working places then there is no chance for adultery in work places.
Who are u to stop women from doing jobs where Allah has given them the permission 🤔. Just think there are so many widows and divorcees and they don't wanna remarry or be someone 2nd wife so what should they do?? They should starve to death?? Or someone who doesn't have any mehram left in her family what should she do?? Or someone who's husband is mentally, physically abuse her or he is physically disabled what should she do??
@@saira5619 I didnot stop any women from doing jobs. I only stated the current reality of our world. If you can't see that. Then its your problem not mine. Adultery and fornication is widespread in our society including work places. I only warned about this. If the husband is physically abusing wife or he is physically disabled she can divorce him. If she is not ready for divorce then its upto her what would she do with her own life.
I don’t even know why anyone would say ‘stay at home”, instead of work at home. No body wants to work for anybody and get paid except a fool, we just don’t have a choice and that includes both men and women.
The thing is, it's very hard nowadays if not impossible for a woman to work while following all islamic guidelines, it's hard for a man too but easier, which is why women are told not to work. When need arises that's different, but in general cases. The man should provide. He is Qawwam. And if a husband tells his wife not to work and he is providing for her then she can't disobey him. And Allah knows best, may Allah forgive and guide us all
What is a woman supposed to do if her husband isn't providing for her needs & the needs of their children? She needs sanitary items for her menses & groceries at home; the children need medication yet when she asks him, he tells her he doesn't have any money or time to get those things. Then turns around and spends money on frivolous things, buys fast food for himself, donating to charities in his home country so people will see that he donated, etc. Doesn't charity start at home? The needs of the family are not being met. So again I ask, What is a woman supposed to do?
@@dionnewilliams1560 this man has betrayed the entrustment which Allah placed upon him. When we talk about necessity, that's a different story. If there is a completely halal way foe the woman to work Nd be able to provide, then alhamdulillah, but if the ways include haram and there is necessity, then a person is excused according to their necessity.for example, That's why we are allowed to eat pork when starvingto death. The woman is excused according to her necessity, if she has to involve herself with some things which are inappropriate for a muslim woman. And Allah knows best. May Allah help the women who have to deal with such men with no understanding
