Same. Literally never thought or compared myself to her because she wasn't real, so I've never been able to relate to people who link their self esteem with not looking like Barbie. I feel like that is the case for most women -- she was just a doll to play with. I didn't develop self esteem problems until I was past Barbie-playing age and began to compare myself to girls in my class.

I think most children wouldn’t because she was sort of basically a character. We’ve likely all seen or heard of women with blonde hair and blue eyes and all that. She wasn’t like an ideal woman, just “A woman” to most children. Also a cool one, she had like 120 jobs she was super useful to her society
