Ladies! Don't take Nuva Ring if you get migraines. I nearly died on this thing. I was having heart palpitations and lethargic-like weakness I could barely move up the stairs in my home. I honestly felt like I was slipping away... When I read the side effects for nuva ring online it was listed to not take it if you are prone to migraines. I was just diagnosed with migraines a year before. My gyno didn't ask me anything about my health like this before giving it to me. Always look into the side effects and what other health conditions counteract your birth control.

Lauren Brothers on the other side of that, I have chronic migraines and the nuva ring is the bc that's worked best for my body, and my Dr knows about all of it. 🤷🏽‍♂️ its different for everyone

Thank you for making this video! Different people need different things for their health. When I went off the pill, it took about a year before my skin cleared, mostly due to changing my diet (forcing me to be healthier). But my periods are shorter, my mood is stable, and I feel more connected to my body without the added hormones.

I went on them 6 years ago (still on them) and they had nothing but positive effects on me; menstruation was lighter, less painful and doesn't last as long anymore, I lost weight, I'm more emotionally stable and my appetite got better I am aware that they can have negative effects on some people, but not for me. Before I took them, I used to dread it every month as I would be in so much pain to the point I would be physically sick and miss too much school, I started taking them before sitting my final year exams

Ladies, if you're experiencing extreme pain on your period, consider quitting eating dairy. Dairy products are full of hormones and agents that are inflammatory. Try it for a couple of months and most of you will experience a huge improvement. I used to have crippling pain every single month, but once I got off dairy, my periods are shorter and much less painful. On months when I "cheat", I immediately experience horrible pain again. I can't stress enough how this is worth an honest try! Hope this helps! xx PS, should note I'm off the pill for 7 years and I couldn't be happier about it.

So I'm just gonna put out there that there are many different kinds of BC that are used for different reasons. There's the iud, implant, shot, ring, pill, I think there maybe others and for people have tried (for example) just the pill and only the same one and say never again are, in my opinion, idiots, as there are all kinds of different formulas for the pill but there also other kinds of BC. I recently just went off the pill after a 6 year stretch with multiple different brands and got the implant, my body is still adjusting to the change but I can't imagine going off of my BC completely for any reason as my periods were so bad I was missing about a week or more of school each month. BC saved me from a life of endless suffering, and that's not an overstatement because the pain caused sever nausea and projectile illness, paralyzation, and endless screaming. My periods weren't bad they were unbearable, but now I can actually live a relatively normal life.

I take the pill for my mood and to occasionally skip periods during summer/travelling. I am very lucky that I don’t suffer from acne, endometriosis or anything else. I still get painful cramps but they aren’t to the point of me throwing up, and usually only last two days tops. I took the pill for three weeks in Europe when I was 17, and then started taking it again when I was 18 1/2 main reason so I could skip it on holidays. I haven’t had any side effects, it didn’t change my period. About to turn 21.

Every birthcontrol pill is different. The first one I have been pre-srcibe was perfect, I had no side effects at all. After taking it for 4 years my doctor decided to change it and the second one was terrible. I was having headaches every day and I've been overly sensitive so I decided to get off of it. It took 6 months to stabilize my body again. Especially my mood. I was incredibly emotional I literally started crying because someone gave me a mean look. And normally I am not a cryer or overly emotial person. It took some time to get back to normal, but after that it's okey. If someone would like to stay on birth control, just talk to your doctor about changing the brand if the one you have been given does nit suit you.

SERIOUSLY, WHEN IS MEN'S BIRTH CONTROL COMING OUT???????????? Why should birth control only be women's concern, after a simultaneous, cooperative act???????? Hmmmmm???????
@Ehvelin
@Ehvelin 6 лет назад
M Hi, Biochemistry scientist here. Unfortunately, in order for a medication to be approved, the side effects can’t be worse than the risk you would face if you had the “disease”. So for women it’s “ok” that the pill has so many risks because it would be even worse if you got pregnant (you’d be even more hormonal, have an ever higher chance of thrombosis, etc). But there is absolutely no risk for the man when he gets a woman pregnant, right? So in order to legally approve male birth control, it pretty much can’t have any side effects, and naturally that has been very difficult to achieve. But there is some research being done into it, so I hope one day will find a way!
@maggiecrowe9480

Though i would love for men to have birth control and be a part of the whole equation, for men to have birth control would be much harder, because women only have one egg to stop from being released, while men have millions of sperm that need to be subdued, and they would also have to take multiple pills a day for this to work. Men's birth control would also have to be more full of hormones because of the sperm count they have and would in turn affect their physical and mental health so much more.

I have had my period since I was 14 - it was so bad that I had to miss school and I would have to change my pad every half hour. My doctor made me wait for BC until I was 16... those 2 years were the hardest to endure in physical terms. Even on birth control, my periods were still bad. Just recently, they have had to up my dosage. So its not like birth control is used to prevent pregnancy, it is essential for women with horrible periods.

Same! I start taking BC because of my acne. I also have migraines but I felt I was taking too much medication. So I stopped taking BC, Migraine meds, and changed my diet. I’ve been off both for little over 3 yrs. I only take my Migraine meds when I can’t take it anymore. But, the first few months were the worst, I was going through mood swings, acne, and weight gain. This is really interesting. I think more studies should be done on birth control and how it affects women, hormones, mood, etc. As a 20 year old woman who has never been on birth control (and never been pregnant) I wonder how my body would be affected if I started taking it. I also find the fact that even in a casual video you can see major negative side effects of long term usage and then cessation of birth control concerning. What if women have been using birth control for 10+ years and then decide to have a child? How does it affect fertility after long term usage? Is pregnancy post birth control more difficult? These are all questions I would like to know the answers to :) thanks for the super interesting video!

Any One I am so glad to hear that you are curious about these things. I’m a 51 year old man but the subject of birth control will remain on my mind for the rest of my days. On September 27, 2018, my 20 year old daughter passed away from blood clots that were triggered by her use of a combination pill called Levora. My daughter may have had a genetic predisposition to clotting on her maternal side that we were unaware of. She took Levora, which by the way is marketed as one of the “safer” pills, for about 9 months. One morning she woke up to answer the door for a repairman and collapsed instantly from a massive heart attack. No warning whatsoever. Now the medical community will tell you that what happened to my daughter is extraordinarily rare and based on many different reports, it does appear to be rare. But nevertheless it does happen and the families that are left behind are forever changed and forever devastated. So my advice to any young lady considering birth control is to learn as much about your maternal and paternal medical history as possible and discuss any findings with your doctor. Also do your own independent research on what effect birth may have on you given your own family history. There are a number of helpful and informative websites that you can turn to. If possible, have your blood tested for any genetic conditions that may make taking birth control particularly dangerous for you. My most important piece of advice may receive the most resistance but please consider consulting both of your parents before making this decision. They may have information about your family history that you don’t know about or they may have additional insight. I certainly wish everyday that my daughter would have discussed this with me. Many young ladies say or believe, “my parents would kill me if they knew I wanted to go on birth control!” Please don’t let such thoughts enter your mind. Having a discussion with me about birth control could have possibly saved my daughter’s life. Please take my comments with all the respect and concern with which they are intended. My comment is also not meant to disparage or degrade the medical community in any way. But the fact will always remain that we should have the final say so over our health and well-being. It pains me to think that my daughter died in part due to a medication that wasn’t designed to treat an illness, but designed to prevent a condition. You may in fact see similar comments from me posted throughout the internet. I loved my daughter tremendously and my goal is to help other families avoid feeling the pain that we are feeling. I wish you all the best.

Anthony Williams that’s strange because when I took my sister they made her take a blood test and then came back with the best long term birth control that would be best for her. They gave her the implant she doesn’t have any side affects now but you should look to sue the doctor that have her the birth control without a blood test.
@aw8119
@aw8119 5 лет назад
Humzah Hassan thank you for your response and suggestion. Unfortunately the vast majority of medical providers nationwide do not give patients these blood tests which can be done rather easily and save many lives. To add to that many insurance companies will not pay for these tests. Some medical providers will not even inform young ladies of the existence of such tests which deprives the patient of the opportunity to pay for the test themselves out of pocket even if their insurance company will not cover any or all of the cost. Some medical providers will ask the patient if “they” have had a blood clot not if there is any family history of blood clots. There is no uniformity in prescribing birth control and that is one of the major problems. There is also a movement to allow women to obtain birth control by using an app. Under this scenario, a woman would not even see a health care provider instead they would just fill out a questionnaire. This may already be available in some states. I’m so glad that there was a wise and forward thinking doctor in your situation who was able to provide safe and appropriate care. Unfortunately, courts do not view failure to give blood tests prior to prescribing birth control as medical malpractice. The stories of young ladies who have lost their lives unnecessarily like my daughter are numerous and heartbreaking. A Google search of “blood clots birth control pills death” will yield startling results. From this search you will learn about many absolutely wonderful young ladies who lost their lives needlessly. In far too many case true concern for the health and well being of women is an afterthought and not a priority. Give the doctor that you used an extra special thanks because that doctor is obviously one of the good ones that our nation needs more like.

@@zina-alex This is a myth! Yes, BC has different side effects in everyone and some people should not use some types of hormonal bc if they have pre existing medical conditions. There are many types of pills, shots and devices used and the same type of bc will effect two women very differently. However, modern bc has improved greatly and the doses are much safer than they use to be.

@@zina-alex Yes I consider myself very well read on the side effects. The side-effects of bc pills vary between each type and dose. @tej6176

depression and NON STOP PMS is what is the pill is responsible for. Its like being at day 22 of a natural cycle NON STOP, wich means food gravings etc. If you look up the hormone levels in a picture you can very well see that leading up to ovulation there is a estrogen rise and this estrogen is always low being on birth control. Its never the same as druing ovulation and because there is no ovulation the sexdrive is low, also the mood is lower cause once you know how powerfull ovulation is for the mood and looks you start to see when woman are ovulating its that strong. These hormones are so strong that once you see the ovulation glow on other womans faces and their good moods you know for sure the pill is taking this away from you... The problem with birth control is that you have never a peak moment and never high estrogen levels. Estrogen is higher then progesteron during a normal natural cycle it starts to rise leading up to ovulation and then once the egg is gone progesteron starts to rise again. Well, progesteron is the enemy i can tell you. When this hormone is higher then estrogen during the second half of the cycle its starts to cause these bad moods, bad food cravings, no sexdrive etc Its all because estrogen is low and progesteron is high.

I also have PCOS. I was prescribed so many things... metformin, spironolactone, 3 different BC pills. I decided I would get off all of them and just see who *I* was. Aside from plucking random chin hairs every day and my thinning hair, it's been amazing. I am a stronger, more emotionally stable woman now. I do wear wigs because I have lost most of my hair, but I am having so much fun with them & going crazy with styles, lengths and colors. I have actually lost weight, gained confidence, regulated the insulin issues by strongly avoiding all grains, and I now have 4 fewer pills to take every day. My husband told me just yesterday that he doesn't want me back on the pills and that he likes me better as the strong & assertive (albeit somewhat more hirsute) woman he married, than the weak & emotional female I was on all the hormones. TLDR; there's nothing fatal about PCOS, and there's no reason to be on that medication except to try and fit in with social constructs and doctors telling us that we're not real, beautiful, intelligent women just because we have a lot of testosterone.
@Chickensareawesome
@Chickensareawesome 6 лет назад
BelaayyasMusic and there's no reason to shame women who want to stay on the pill because you think we're trying to fulfill some "societal norm" of beautiful. Maybe we're on it because we FEEL BETTER on it rather than being off it. I feel more like me while on the pill. I feel more in control of my life because when I'm off it, I have year long periods and want to die because I cramp so bad. Be careful of how you say things. Just because something works for you and you feel more powerful and womanly off the pill than on it doesn't it'll work for others. the same way.

Before I write this comment: Please do not come at me for this, I am completely aware that birth control does not equal no pregnancy (I am a birth control baby). Also, don’t come at me for being the only girl on this platform who takes the pill. Anyhow, I’ve found it to be SO helpful for me. My mental health is pretty bad but it always has been and that was never affected by the pill. Although it’s caused my face to be free of acne and my periods to be free of mass blood and pain. Also, it eases my mind somewhat that as a sexually active women I do not have to worry AS much about becoming pregnant. That being said, I only am taking it because I am not at a point in my life where I would like to start a family with my wonderful s/o. I’ve never forgotten to take a day and I have been on for several years of my life. No slip ups yet. ALSO: As I said before, birth control DOES NOT equal no pregnancy. I was born from a couple using birth control and no other protection. So ALWAYS stay safe and protect yourself and your partner as needed. That’s just my take on the pill, if anyone cared to read thank you and have a lovely day. May your week be blessed and beautiful. Please wish me well as I go into driver’s ed starting tomorrow!

It would make me fly into uncontrollable rages or multiple hour crying fits for no reason. It was almost like an out of body experience, like I was on the outside watching myself doing these things, thinking "why am I doing this? I need to stop, why can't I stop?" It was terrifying, and for a while I thought I was legitimately going crazy. I ended up dropping out of college that semester because I couldn't even function. It changes your entire life? For a lot of women, periods can control their lives due to pain or blood or side effects from PMS. I know for me, that was the reason I decided to go on birth control in the first place. Coming off of a medicine that alters your body that much takes time and is very stressful and messes up your body (as seen in the video). I don't understand why you wouldn't think that was brave. It's much easier to stay on birth control forever than to deal with the reciprocations of coming off of it.

Without birth control, I normally have a heavy period with lots of cramping. My period was so heavy that I had to wear an overnight pad and panty liners to create a super pad....it was just horrible no matter how frequently I changed. I would get dizzy and have terrible mood swings. I was super emotional. My period lasted for 7 days and they were mostly all heavy days. In addition, I hated going out on my period. Birth control pills changed all of this. I got less acne. My flow was less and it lasted for less days. My mood improved (I was actually pleasant to be around 😂). I don't have cramps nor do I feel dizzy. I can go out and no more leaks. Plus, I know exactly what week my period is coming, so I can plan accordingly. Yes, there are side effects. I did gain a little weight....but I don't know whether it was from being in college or being on the pill. My drive is not what it used to be, but I am ok with that. I have tried to get off of it because I hate having to take a pill everyday, but I just don't like how I feel on my period without it.

I generally don't comment on youtube videos because people can be horrible, but I wanted to throw my 2 cents in here. When I was 18 I was finally diagnosed with PCOS after YEARS of pain, discomfort, and confusion and immediately went on BC. Almost immediately my periods got lighter, my cramps got better and I started going years without any major issues to do with my cysts. Previously I would get large cysts on my ovaries that would twist or burst leaving me almost completely incapacitated for several hours. The pain was nearly intolerable and made me throw up on several occasions, I couldn't stand, I couldn't hear over the ringing in my ears and my vision started to distort, looking almost like a static channel on a TV. BC helped with that, but it did make me emotional and moody which is a trade off I was, and still am, willing to make even now over 10 years later. But I have often wondered what I would be like as a person if I didn't have to take BC all the time, I sometimes feel like, since I've been on it since I was 18, that I've never really met my true adult self if that makes any sense. And to all these people on here shaming people for using BC, I think you need to understand that for some of us uterus-having people, it's a lot more complicated than that and that those comments can be hurtful. I would love to not be beholden to a daily medication, but that's not in the cards for me. I was off for 2 weeks once due to bad scheduling on my part and ended up in the emergency room with 2 ruptured, golf-ball sized cysts and a third still intact. So I guess what I'm saying is: be kind, because you never know someone's story and no matter what reason someone chooses to take BC, whether it's medically necessary, to prevent pregnancy, to clear up acne, or whatever, that's their business, not yours. Thank you for listening to my TED talk, and just to be clear, if ANYONE tries to give me health advice in the comments, that person has grossly misunderstood my entire point.

Thanks for sharing! I was recently diagnosed with pcos and my doc prescribed bc. It has helped a lot with the physical pain - it's been a while now since I had any episodes of excruciating pain from cysts rupturing or contortions. But the emotional side is a bit rough. I'm prone to depression and I have had quite a few darker days since starting bc. I guess I'm still trying to find the right balance for me.

Same here, I was diagnosed at 16 with PCOS, mostly because my mom has it too and all the symptoms were there. I sometimes wonder if or when I should get off the pill because of my depression but also would I be a totally different person off of it? It's been so long 😅 Then I think back to the time I had the PCOS symptoms and I change my mind every time... Even though I've only experienced them for about 4 years before going on the pill, the pains scarred me, like these period pains were no joke... And the other symptoms also impacted my self esteem (acne, pilosity, hair loss, weight fluctuations). I don't know what's best but I'm glad that at least we have options

Now I don't suffer from this condition, but your comment has left me curious. Does BC actually prevent the cysts and if so, how? Or does it mean you somehow feel them less or something? Is it the only medication out there for the condition? As I said, just curious! 😊

I took birth control from 13-20 and I took myself off it and my hair started thinning, I developed huge painful ovarian cysts several periods and my skin was terrible but I lost weight and felt so much more happy. It’s so frustrating. what’s more frustrating is that I talked to my doctor about possible tubal ligation and she literally laughed at me and said I was too young and it was against her beliefs. I can deal with the cysts and acne but I just wish I could just never get pregnant and not have the synthetic hormones screwing with my mental health.

I think the doctor is right, even though you are 20 you shouldnt make a decision of that magnitude at this point of your life. Im 21 and im pretty sure ALL my girl friends dont want kids, but opinion can change so its better if you have the option to still have them. If the pills is making you unhappy stop taking it! And look for other solutions, there are many many many people with bad acne (girls and guys) and there are treatments. Also just use condoms, if something goes wrong yo can take a pill a probably have a bad weekend, but it is still better than screwing with your mental health (at least thats what i think) Pd.- i think that this over use of the pill is more of an american thing, cause at least for the girls that i know have cicles in wich the use them only between 2/3 or 3/4 of the year. 2pd.- wish you the best, and hope that you dont make any rushed decisions
@malloryk5237
@malloryk5237 6 лет назад
That makes me so angry. So many doctors have no problems performing abortions, but when it comes to preventing unwanted pregnancies from happening all together they say "you're too young," or "you'll change your mind." For a lot of women it's better for their health and for their life to get a tubal ligation because they may not want to pass things on genetically or birth control causes them continuous pain and discomfort. People forget that there are other roads to motherhood. And it's a total double standard when men get vasectomies all the time. The doctors job is not to push their beliefs on to you but to provide you with unbiased choices and options. Maybe that's just me that thinks all of this. I think maybe you should consider seeking out other doctors.

It really is crazy how different things can affect people so differently. That's also why it's important to talk to your doctor if you want to be on it to find something that works for you. Be honest if something is uncomfortable or downright painful so you can try other options. I have a friend who couldn't take the shot or a pill because she would get crazy headaches, but loves the patch. Apparently I'm allergic to the shot (I itched like mad for over a month after getting it), but I found one brand of pill that works really well for me, whereas the first kind of pill I tried made my blood pressure go crazy. Sometimes it takes more than one try to find something that works, and for certain people, nothing works and they're better off without it altogether.

Maybe it has something to do with the amount of sperm produced VS eggs dropped during ovulation? I don't know for sure at all but it seems logical that it would be easier to control the 1 (or possible 2) eggs that drop during ovulation rather than the millions of sperm men produce! Since most birth control pills work by stopping ovulation

Bianca H my sisters friends both have endo and are both looking to have kids (also terrified about not being on the pill) and were actually reccomended by their doctors to go forth and try for kids, as pregnancy can actually help treat endo. Nowadays the docters need to tell woman that their mood can be really affected. I know this for sure, I always felt depressed and low libido being on birthcontrol. Also I gained weight cause i was more prone to eating sweets and bad foods, eating the wrong things was caused by birth control hormones. Its interesting cause basically its the same as having PMS in the 2 weeks after ovulation in a natural cycle, wich for a majority of woman means you grave more sugars, salt foods etc it could be anything unhealthy. And i didn't know why i was graving these foods. Now I only have that mood and food gravings several days before my period. Also not having fluid anymore around y belly and other parts of my body. I lost a lot of weight by quitting the birth control pill, also because these foods that i graved being on birth control i didnt like anymore after that. Even my face was more swollen due to fluids being on birth control, if i look at pictures. If you know your natural cycle you can see how your face and eyes can look different and even skin is softer around ovulation. I can see on other woman faces now if they are close to ovulating or if they are several days before their period. Also sexdrive etc is high during first 2 weeks before ovulation and then after ovulation it can vary much more. But mostly because of specific hormone levels the face becomes more sharp shaped, bigger bright eyes and shiny skin leading up to ovulation. I just want to put this out there: ... I feel bad for the women out there who tried one BC pill or method and gave up. Supplying your body hormones (natural) that your body is lacking to provide for you isn't necessarily a bad thing like you all think it is. Many women benefit from it and not just for preventative pregnancy. EVERY BC PILL IS DIFFERENT. EVERY WOMAN IS DIFFERENT. REASONS TO TAKE BC CAN VARY BY MULTIPLE THINGS. ... Thank you 💕💕💕

Katy Roussel I chose my skin over my reproductive system. Haha. Eczema sucks, and I needed to eliminate anything that could've made it worse in the past few years. It was just too much of a coincidence that my skin got extremely bad (I was basically bed ridden, almost didn't graduate) when I had an IUD and around the time my body would've gotten used to it. Never again. I'm too scared to try anything else. I do injections for my skin. They're ok so far. I can move around at least.

I was on birth control for 6 years, not because I was sexually active, but when I got my puberty my period cramps were so bad that I was bedridden and I missed a lot of school. My periods were normal, 1 week long, there was a lot of bleeding but that was manageable... but the cramps were unbearable. My gyno recommended birth control, and that solved the cramps issue, so I just kept taking it. Later on, I moved to a different state and my insurance couldn't cover me there, so I just quit taking birth control, and my horrible cramps never came back. I did have to learn what my body felt like during ovulation, because I'd been on birth control since puberty and never had much experience with that, so it was confusing. But apps like Clue and Ovia helped me learn my body and what its symptoms meant. I'm glad that whatever was causing unbearable cramps at the beginning was able to heal itself. Maybe it was just out of control teenage hormones, who knows. I'm glad I no longer need to rely on birth control for medical reasons, but I understand fully why some women need it just to live a normal life. No one should judge a woman's decision, whether she's on the pill or not. You are the only person that knows what's best for your body (also your doctor too if you're lucky enough to have a good one).

if you have horrible cramping, that isn’t normal. anyone who has excessively painful periods should see their doctor and ask about endometriosis. 1 in 10 women suffer from this Disease and little is known about it. There is no cure. If your doctor doesn’t know about it do research do your homework, this is serious and can get worse as you get older. painful periods are not normal.

I'm not really sure what you're trying to say here. "There is no cure." If taking the pill alleviates symptoms, and the only alternative is "no cure," wouldn't that justify taking the pill even more? One of the recommended treatments is taking hormones.

Birth control side effects for me have included: weight gain, which also lead to breast weight gain (went from a size b to DD), hormonal mood swings, anger, painful periods, etc. when I got OFF birth control it took a while to adjust. I was finally able to lose weight, my skin breaks out a little, but I’m a lot thinner, less hungry, lost weight in my boobs (hooray), and still have some PMS mood swings but not awful mood swings. I’ve been OFF birth control for a few years and it has made my life so much better

So frustrating to see doctors tell these women to go back on birth control instead of addressing the fact that your body is purging and coming down from being flooded with man made hormones. Any side affects that happen when you stop taking ANYTHING medication stop if you look after your body, nourish it and have patience, it took me well over a year to become regular and feel myself again. But it is so worth it when your body is functioning!
@jadgen4347
@jadgen4347 6 лет назад
I mean. It's their choice, and if they want to take the medication to alleviate period symptoms and other pains, then good for them. Good for you for being willing to go off of it, but it's not your place to say what they should or shouldn't do. I'm not trying to be mean or rude, so sorry if I came off that way. Just inputting my thoughts :)

Do not EVER trust a man with the birth control. And no man should ever trust a woman with it. At the end of the day, pregnancy is a 2-person job, so if remaining childfree is important to you, then you should always maintain your own birth control, same goes for men. Worst case scenario is that you are using two methods and almost certainly not going to get knocked up.

@princesslulu5795

Janie Pearson I suggest you be patient because sometimes periods, acne etc could be a little out of whack for a while especially if you’ve been on it for a while. Keep track of your symptoms and progress, and I suggest you try to resist the urge to go back. Take care of your body as much as possible. Eat really healthy, exercise regularly, get enough sleep, limit stress, limit alcohol/drug use etc. take vitamin supplements as needed (but ask a doctor) especially things like zinc, vitamin b, magnesium etc. Also I strongly strongly recommend you read The Period Repair Manual. It’s available in print and on iTunes and amazon kindle. Can’t recommend this book enough. Also do some research on “post birth control syndrome” to get an idea of some of the symptoms that you might get. Take extra good care of your hair & skin for a while too. If your acne becomes severe see a dermatologist. I wish you the best. I’m still dealing with adjusting without the pill 7 months later though I also have pcos.
