This is an amazing show, and it just gets better! Honestly these episodes are a little slow compared to the rest of the series. Supernatural is one of my comfort shows. No matter how bad my day was, I can find comfort in knowing that Sam and Dean's day was probably worse! 🤣🤣

I've been a fan of Supernatural since the day that it first aired back in 2005. I LOVE how you've been reacting to these episodes and giving this show the much earned respect that it deserves. Before Supernatural a ‘67 Impala could be had for $500. Try to get one now, you need to add a couple of zeros, all because of this show. The car is definitely a cast member.

Fun Fact : Jensen actually owns the Original Impala from the set/show! Jensen Ackles got the Impala in his Supernatural contract. Supernatural props are all property of Warner Brothers. However, he made arranagements to officially get the Impala.

fun fact, still on this very day we don't know why bloody mary came for dean, for Sam we know he felt the guilty for jess, now dean, it's still a mystery, kripke the creator did not reveal, interesting tho, anyway, this show is my big comfort, i am so glad you watching it, pls keep 'em coming 💚

Let's be honest, this is Dean freaking Winchester we're talking about here. Pick any one of the thousands of hunts in his life where someone died and just call it a day. Feeling guilty about things he has no business feeling guilty over is, like, 68.7% of his character.

Favorite line - Dean: "We had to go to the bathroom"! Thinking you're watching this on Netflix which didn't have the rights to all of the Rock used in S1. The last scene of this ep was over "Laugh I Nearly Died" by the Stones which crushed it (the substitute was utterly forgettable). The scene w/the original music in on YT

Two things stood out this reaction: “An ice-cream scoop would be easier.” Always be practical! “She was cremated.” - “Dang it.” You’re learning very quickly! Cremation = nuisance for our boys!

Thanks for the reaction! This show not only held on for 15 seasons, the first seasons are still holding up today, when you watch them 17 years later, and that goes to show how good they are. Yes, it's not an "Emmy material", but I love it because it has ation, and humor and thrill and feels. And like you said - a seriously cool car...

Mary didn't kill Charlie because she knew enough to smash and keep away from any reflective surfaces near her. Mary killed the other two because they stood in front of mirrors. Mary managed to get a hold of Sam because his guilt over dreaming about Jessica's death and keeping quiet made him temporarily freeze.

I started watching this show when it first aired on tv. I'm a Jensen fans since wish bone and days. I many like seasons 1-3 more because it felt more realistic. Writing material like "what's myspace?", Not having google map but it was called map quest, knowing some internet stuff but not everything, most people hear about somethings that are out there, but they don't believe in it and they ignore it, what single guys do for a date. Of course everything else was fun like the lores, different ways to kill a vampire, how do they get gas money, etc,.

I miss just how naive and carefree Sam and Dean were in seasons 1-3. After a certain point they became jaded and hardened, which is understandable with the bullshit they went through.

This was the first episode I ever saw. I was about 10-11, and it made me terrified to look into ANY reflective surfaces for about a week.

I cannot even imagine the time and effort it takes for you to take a 43 min episode with intro and outro with the snippets of the show that you put in and whatever else it takes. I am so very thankful you cut it down to 16-18 minutes. It’s a joy to watch and makes my day. I am watching these coinciding with the podcast Supernatural then and now. This was the episode that really cemented for me that we had a serious contender for the replacement of the X Files. I had just been told at film school that tv executives are interested in your pilot episode - sure - but then they want to see that episode 2 can carry the momentum from the pilot... AND then they look at episode 4-5 to see if that momentum is STILL carrying the show forward. And here we are... and this episode was amazing!

There is a fan theory throughout the spn fandom that all their bad luck from the rest of the seasons is because of all the mirrors they broke in this episode! 🤣🤣 They do have some of the worst luck sometimes in this show and it’s funny to think it could be because of these mirrors!

This show is also known for all of the classic rock that they play. It's not a spoiler but pay close attention to when they are impersonating official people their names that they use. There are several channels that are dedicated to supernatural music. A footnote to this statement is if you're watching the series on Netflix they don't have all the songs or they've changed the. That's really sad because the soundtrack that goes with the original shows Have the original music

We used to say Bloody Mary 3 times in the mirror when I was kid. Then scream & that would scare each other other. My first car was a 67 Impala but it was turquoise. That was back in 1971. What I wouldn't give to have it back. I am like your friend but I watch it every morning with my coffee & orange juice. Love your reactions. See you next time.

the only reason I found your site was because of you watching the 1st episode of supernatural so I subscribed. It's definitely in my top five favorite shows and I'm glad you're enjoying it. I will say there was 1 season I don't rewatch because it's just not good, maybe you'll get to it. I hope you get that far because I'd like to see if you agree with me on that. I'm sure all the Supernatural fans know what season I'm talking about.

I'm from Pittsburgh and most episodes happen between me and you because they filmed in Canada. Just like in the x-files the new England area is a key hot spot for the supernatural. The Pilot episode was filmed SoCal. L.A. and Ventura Counties. The bridge scenes were filmed on HWY 23 just before getting to Fillmore from Moorpark (Ventura County). Drove it a few times when I lived in Moorpark.

I was so scared watching this episode back in 2005... The first 5-6 seasons are amazing... The rest of them... Well there are some awesome episodes but not as good as a whole in my opinion.

Dude, your reactions are pretty funny. I ain't saying it. There's a mirror right there LOL. Hypothetically you'd only have to worry about her coming after you if you got some secret that resulted in someone's death...At least within the Supernatural realm. I remember the whole Bloody Mary thing as a kid, but I don't remember there being any more information about her other than she'd appear in the mirror after saying her name. I knew kids who talked about playing it but growing up on the movie Candyman, it's just something I completely stayed the hell away from as a kid. That was just a big NOPE for me! If you liked this episode, you should check out the movie Candyman from 1992.

I sometimes don't like that I belive in stuff, because it makes the nights (especially around winter and autumn) and watching stuff like that (even) creepier...but the itchy non belivers here did a good job acting, they annoyed me the eff off :D
