I would suggest that a Ewbank manual sweeper is a better bet: amzn.to/3sD26Js
In this video I repair the drive of this B&D floor sweeper. It is a lightweight lithium battery powered sweeper. Although not a vacuum cleaner it performs a similar function.

Thank you so much for this video. It was helpful to see someone else pry off the slides, and clean out those gears. I had the same issue. And now the sweeper is working again.

Thank you! This really helped me repair mine. Couldn't believe how much stuff had gotten trapped around those axeles! A toothpick came in handy for getting inside some of those crevices. On mine the first gear after the motor was starting to get stripped, so I swapped it with one near the end and it's running like new.

They are just the evolution of the carpet sweeper, We had the Kärcher version in the kitchen for years before we got a Dyson cordless and found it really useful

Just a eubank sweeper with a motor. A completely unnecessary use of electric. If it had a vacuum then it’s an improvement but this one doesn’t.

@@bootsowen The Kärcher one we had was exactly the same, Advantage over the push along eubank sweepers is it'll do right up to the edges and no issues with the wheels skidding stopping the brushes on any surface

Mine won't take charge anymore. Need to replace Lithium battery. Do you have a video for that? Or they recommend to just throw it away at that time.

I have a model HFS115J. 3.6v DC. After a full charge. It runs then stops got to step on switch again and stops. Won’t stay on worth fixing? Or throw out. 1 year old

I presume you charge it? Battery might be worn out. You could replace it, hardly worth it, depends on how much you like it!
