I remember playing this back at my friends house. It was in the early 1990 when the NES was already firing on all cylinders. You are correct, a great game and actually one of the highest rated on the SMS. This is a truly great game. The work around for the pause issue is you can actually press any direction on the dpad on the 2nd controller and it will bring up the menu
I've dabbled in this game a little bit but haven't played it all the way through. It is an awesome game and I'm happy to highlighted it on the channel.
I recently got into the Master System this year and my biggest gripe is the D-pad. Fun system! I only have 4 games but look forward to exploring the library! Also, I totally get what you mean with "personal favorite." 😂
Great video. I checked the comments to see if anyone beat me to commenting about Ronan Gaming being my personal favorite, of course they did. So instead I will just say that Ronman Gaming is my individual favorite.
Just a minor point: Westone is actually pronounced "West Stone". It's a portmanteau of Ryuichi Nishizawa's and Michishito Ishizuka's names: "Nishi" being "west" and "ishi" being "stone".
Oh yea this is one of my personal favorited too lol. This game is great. I never finished it though. I got stuck in a maze like area towards the end and rage quit. I refuse to look things up so that tends to happen to me. I really need to go back to it.
There’s a door before entering the final castle. If you did all the right things up to this moment you can choose either a ruby which beats the first phase of the dragon or a bell which will guide you through the maze. I spent a small fortune on this game in the arcade learning from trial and error.
lol I agree with people saying 'personal favourite' being stupid. I think the same thing about when people type 'I mean' at the start of a sentence, what's the point?
