The "Wonder" song from The Lord Of The Rings (Original London Production). Music by: Composers - Christopher Nightingale; A.R.Rahman Lyricists - Shaun McKenna and Matthew Warchus
I sang of leaves, of leaves of gold, and leaves there grew Of wind I sang, a wind there came and in them blew Lothlórien In light I wove a secret land of timeless joy My perfect child no mortal hand could dare destroy Lothlórien Beyond the sun Beyond the moon Wonder Wonder Shine forever Beacon of light Blaze in the air Vanquishing night Live forever Held like a breath Deep at the core Blossom in death My golden leaves will fade and fall through branching years Though sweet the song yet sweeter still shall be the tears The night must come, the shadows grow, the dark descend And all we love and all we know must reach an end Lothlórien Though worlds will die and worlds will grow Out of death, life Out of night, day Glory from sorrow Out of grief, joy Out of storm, comes Strength for tomorrow Out of dust, gold Out of fire, air Comfort forsaken Out of rage, calm Out of loss, find Glory awaken Shine forever Beacon of light Blaze in the air Vanquishing night Sing forever Proud and strong Anthem of life Conquering song Though tides of fate Onward run The song of hope Once begun Will evermore Remain
One of. Now and For Always has always been the apex of this show. Such a brilliant song that I think did loads better at really making Frodo and sams friendship as deep as the author wanted it to be but that may be just me.
Love Lauara Michelle Kelly's voice. So glad she was cast as Lucy in Sweeney even though she didn't really get much of a chance to sing; all of the Beggar Woman's good song numbers were cut. Thank you for posting this song :)
That's really generous of you. It's nice to listen to this track when I'm doing my online schooling :) It really helps me work through my work much more smoothly and definitely helps relieve stress when I have TONS of work :) Once again, thank you :)
I'd love to see it again, it was just breathtaking :) We watched the behind the scenes on Sky over and over again and were determined to see it, and we did! :D x
@HisForeverr Thank you so much for putting this up, I have the album on my iPod and I listen to Lothlórien Wonder and the Final Battle all the time, Laura Michelle Kelly had captivated my mind through her voice, she sang beautifully. She is one of a rare few that has such voice, and when the song went into instrumental, I felt that it was nearing the end of all that we loved, and when she sang again, it gave me hope, as she said "My golden leaves will fade and fall through branching years, tho
Always glad to help ^-^ Though when I went to see it in London with my dad and brother she wasn't playing the part of Galadriel, her understudy was, we were gutted! x
Don't worry. I will :) I just have to say, not only thank you for uploading this but thank you for being so polite in your responses. From what I've experienced, many people here on RU-vid come across as snobbish and rude (which is why I rarely comment on anything), so thank you for that :)
Unfortunately this musical was a West-End flop and was taken off the stage a year after it was released :( it cost something like £13m to produce and wasn't able to make the money back. :(
@InuNarHah101 I fell in love with "lothlorien" before I'd even seen the musical! hehe :) Me, my dad and my brother went to see it in London, it was just breathtaking :) I hate when you say "I went to see LOTR the musical! :D" and people just go "=/ wtf?" Cause it's BRILLIANT :D ♥
Ikr the same with The Hobbit Musical. I had the OST to prove it too but listened to it so many times the CD got damaged. Roads Go Ever On was a lovely song
I still have to see this show...I'm jealous, and really wish I could have gone when Lauara was doing the production :( Oh well. One of these days...and I'm so sorry you weren't able to see her as Galadriel...maybe next time if she ever returns to doing it :)
Wow, I thought I'd replied to this, sorry about that hehe, well I saw behind the scenes on Sky as a documentary type thing, though we had to format the Sky planner because there was a problem with the box -_- You could try lookin' around RU-vid? otherwise I can't help you :( I'd love to see behind the scenes again! so if you find anything, let me know :) ♥
I'm afraid I can't tell you :( you could probably find imitation instrumentals but not an official one. This is all you can get officially I think and it's from the CD I got at the performance in London. Sorry I couldn't help more!
@ABookByAnyOtherName The musical was the best musical overall XD her voice is just stunning and it's a shame she didn't get to sing properly in Sweeney Todd :( ♥
Unfortunately this musical was a West-End flop and was taken off the stage a year after it was released :( it cost something like £13m to produce and wasn't able to make the money back.
you can get the CD on eBay now :) When I uploaded these videos the music was taken straight from a CD my brother has bought when we went to see the show in London :)
There is only one series of videos that captures the televised Behind the Scenes from 2007, but they are AWFUL QUALITY. I watched these behind the scenes when they came on TV and it was what made me go and see the show. here is the first video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yKtlkSdW0-U.html
I am going to work on getting the lyrics into the description, but unfortunately this musical was a West-End flop and was taken off the stage a year after it was released :( it cost something like £13m to produce and wasn't able to make the money back.
Galadriel is the Lady of the Golden Wood, and helps support Frodo in his most difficult times, though not directly. She gives him the Light of Earendil, which helps him find his way through Shelob's cave; she also gives him plenty of advice before he sets out from Lothlorien, which Frodo is constantly remembering, as it as been some of the most useful tips he was given. In the musical, I believe she ends up going to war with the other Elves against Sauron, but I'm not 100% on that... Basically, without her, Frodo and Sam never would have made it to Mordor.
